My son attends school there and is in kindergarten. I think the school has old style morals and values. Something impressive about the school is faculty webpages that offers everything from student happenings with fast replies to emailed questions and homework postings. My son enjoys going to school there and parental involvement is encouraged and expected in terms of homework involvement. The school is located next door to the public library and students do go on field trips to the library. I find most of the staff to be friendly and helpful. The instructions to parents who pick up their child was not fully understood during the first day of school and I found myself in a maze that traveled through the teacher's parking to the side door to pick up my son. I had lunch with my son and I particularly did not enjoy the food. Good school though.

My son has gone to Pacolet Elementary for the past 6 years. The teachers have been excellent and have been very easy to work with. The principal Mrs. Thomason has done a superb job bringing about positive changes for the school. For what it's worth my son says the food is excellent.
