My son is in his senior year at this school and it just seems to me that this school only seems to get better. The academies are top notch and the school does a great job of keeping parents informed. I love the diverse population and the camaraderie that the kids all seem to have with one another.

I had gone to Santaluces Community High School for the past 4 years. Honestly I can say that this school has prepared me more than just academically. The experiences you get from my school are just incredible. As a Jamaican and Chinese male I can say it is more than easy mixing cultures with other students and teachers of all races and backgrounds which is important in coming of age. Students from all races do more than just get along they are best of friends! The visual arts academy is the BEST at this school than anywhere else! Come to this school for this program! The art teachers are so dedicated and really do want students to succeed! The teachers at Santaluces are outstanding! Few teachers have their bad moments but you learn to get through it with them. They teach you the material you need to know to make sure you can understand and if you are not sure ask them and they will be more than happy to go over it. They are there to teach you but you also laugh cry and share amazing times with these people. Everyone at this school will be your family and love you for whom you are! High School is a important step in life and I am glad I had the chance to grow up at Santaluces!

I'm a student of three years at santaluces it's my junior year and i absolutely love my school. The teachers are great and I feel like they really care and are genuine people.

I'm a former student and just loved the school while I was there. Very safe in general.

I'm currently a freshman at santaluces high school and i really like the school. The only problem is the principle it really feels like we're middle schoolers. But other than that it's just an amazing school.

Some teachers are great but there are teachers that have a low expectation and cannot teach. This is my first year at SHS but so far i have only liked a little of my time there.

they treat us like kids its very low budget go to park vista if your can wouldn't recommend it

The music program is amazing... if there's any high school you should go for music it's this one.

I'm going to be a senior this coming year and I'm really sad to say that this is probably going to be the worst year I'll have at Santaluces. I disagree with the principal's decisions and her ways. Look at the past couple reviews and I'm sure they're not the only parents or students that are unhappy with the way things are turning out. It should show her something is going wrong and maybe that's why all her staff and teachers are leaving. We have students who are more involved and caring about our school then she is. But on the bright side teachers.. whoever may be left next year are very friendly and helpful. Us students are actually very bright and interested in learning new things. Get rid of Orloff!!!!

I love Santaluces High School and so does my daughter. We have felt comfortable in the school since day 1 and the faculty is always available to help.

Santaluces has changed a great deal before their usto be so much more assisitance and understanding of the students needs but now they just look at you as just onother student and do not take the time to devote themselves to the needs of strugling students I have seen many changes in santaluces that have not been positive .And Miss Orloff she was no good for Diamond View and even worse for Santaluces all she pecaches about is 0 tollorence and the responce is always twilight school or suspension .Is this the way that our children suppose to learn ? How about being more involved in how to help struggling students instead of hiding behind the asst principle

Ever since we got a new principle (Mrs. Orloff) this school has gone downhill. She keeps making up tons of rules and treats the students as if they're in elementary or middle school. Also our school has gotten a lower rating ever since she came in. I would not recommend going here unless you want to follow tons of pointless rules - especially one with such a poor academic rating.

I graduated from santaluces this year and I must say it's a great school. I loved all 4 years that i attended it and if i had the chance i would do it all over again the same exact way. The staff at santaluces are so supportive and i've never felt so at home. My teachers really went out of their way to help us and they did a great job. Santaluces is the best.

I think that Santaluces is a great school. I am currently a teacher at SCHS. While I am 'newer' to the staff I first became involved with SCHS 15 years ago -- when I first got out of college. I know that the school has a great staff...who do their best to do 'what's right for students'. I currently work with the science department --- and I have to tell you you'll find no better group of individuals to work with or learn from!

I'm only a sophomore I'm involved with school and extra curricular activites. This school is not the best school. Administrators guidance counselors and teachers don't even make efforts to get to know you personally. I agree with the grades teachers don't grade anything just check to see if all is completed. What good is that? They emphisize about every other school but everyone knows Santaluces isn't anywhere near the best.

Santaluces is such a better school then I could ever imagine. All the Santaluces Staff there are great people and work so hard to help us to get to are personal goals in are future life's after we graduate High School. Administrators there are always on top of things. The security is always there when someone needs something or something was to happen. So I give those guys a lot of credit. Over all this school is my recommended High School of Palm Beach County Schools.

Many teachers at Santaluces do not help out of the classroom. Mr.Gard is a great teacher I had him for 2 years for 2 different classes.

I attended SHS from 1999 to 2003. The classwork may be tedious at times but it in no way challenges the students or encourages them to learn. Cheating and plagiarism is rampant and grading is a joke. If a student gets all of his or her work done right or wrong he or she will most likely be on the honor roll. There are a few great teachers at that school who sincerely care about the students. They are the ones who actually seemed like they Wanted to be teachers. There vast majority however merely baby sat a class room all year. I would not recommend that school to anyone.

This school could not be any better I love it here and I wish I could've stayed but unfortunately I had to move. Thanks for making my high school years wonderful

My son attended Santa Luces from 2004 to 2006 and was miserable there the whole time. This school should be seriously overhauled in the academic AND disciplinary areas.
