Both of my sons are currently at CS school. They are both bullied.. to the point that my one child cries and I have to bribe him to go into the school. Why isn't something being done about this? My one child is special needs and constantly tells me how this one child calls him names and makes a fist at him (this has been going on for YEARS). I pay an astronomical amount in rent just so my children can go to CS school. I will move if my children are bullied AGAIN this year.

a very good school great teachers but bullying does exsist here and not much is done to protect our children from cousin has been bullied for about two years off and on.she crys she dont want to go back to school. palmyra needs to do something before something bad happens to one of our children.

Overall good school however one of my children is subjected to bullying and nothing is being done to stop it. In fact my child is removed from play ground activities when the "bully" joins in rather than removing the other child. This and turning their heads is how bullying is dealt with. This child has a reputation and is well known in the school so therefore will be permitted to continue in this manner as she moves on to high school. Such a shame... On top of this a booklet of names addresses and phone numbers has been published and distributed so children can live in fear after school is out!

Charles St is a good school with a very friendly atmosphere. Some of the systems in place seem a little old-fashioned and I think the administration is out of touch but we have had nothing but great teacher experiences.

This is my first year for both my boys there. One of my kids has a phenominal teacher! Superb and you can tell she absolutely loves all her school kids it shows in his work and development he has excelled by far. Than there's my other son who's teacher I am not quite as fond with. ( He struggles and I feel as though he's being criticized for not achieving like he should be he never had this problem at all from the school we came from so it's frustrating for all of us.

I have four children that have attended Charles Street School and all four have suffered from bullying and extreme stress not just from other peers but from teachers as well. This is something I have personally witnessed not just stories from my kids. There are a handful of teachers that are extremely gifted and wonderful I just wish there were more. Currently two children attend another school and have excelled; unfortunately 2 children still attend and I am now looking for another school for them to go to. Nothing breaks a mother's heart more than to see the light within their child go dim because of what they have to endure in an environment meant to nurture them and help them to grow up to be productive young adults.

I think the teachers at Charles St. are exceptional. They really care about their students and communicate well with the parents. The diversity at this school is great! There is a tremendous amount of parent participation for everything that goes on here.
