Although Bourbon County Schools wasn't the ideal school for my child we made it through the first year. One of the guidance counselor's despite being in a cast for most of this pring did an incredible job of helping my son find his place and activities that interested him. He doesn't learn by reading as much as by doing but the teacher's made allowances after the gc got to know our situation.

I think Bourbon County High School is a very poor excuse for a school. There is no discipline. My child has been in the Bourbon Co. school system since 1st grade and I have never been happy with the school system. I am in the process of looking for a better quality school.
i think that the academic program is great here at bourbon county high school the teachers are great and your child gets alot of 1 on 1 time with the teacher. Here the sports programs are great they include basketball softball/baseball football cross country track wrestling cheerleading swimming and i'm sure more. The level of parent involvemetent is great with the P.T.S.A (parent/teacher/student/assioation is great.
