Bethany Lutheran School is a 5 star school. Both of my children attended the school. The staff are dedicated caring Christian examples. The students are challenged every day and also taught about their Savior Jesus Christ. The students also participate in a weekly chapel service which prepared my son for speaking well in the public setting. The advance curriculum allowed my kids to excel in high school and now in college. The athletic program is also a plus. As a parent I met other parents that have become my life long friends. I am so happy we made the decision to send our kids to Bethany. No regrets...I'd do it all over again!!

For a Christ centered education where commitment to spiritual growth is accompanied by an emphasis on academic excellence Bethany Lutheran is a must see for parents. We couldn't be more happy with how our two children are being guided by the wonderful staff and leadership present at Bethany.

As a graduate of Bethany Lutheran and a parent of 2 graduates as well I must say I am so pleased we all attended Bethany. The teachers are caring and show concern for the education and well being of the students. The students all support each other and the friendships go on forever. So many of my classmates also have children attending Bethany so it's a second generation of friend's. The Christian atmosphere is uplifting and cannot be replaced. The parents that volunteer also make a big difference in the extra curriculum activities. God Bless Bethany Lutheran Parma and God Bless America.

Great place to start! and finish. Teachers show such concern for the children's education and their well being.

Bethany is truly a fantastic school! My children and I all attended there. My youngest just graduated and has begun high school. She recently commented on how thankful she is for her Science education as she is doing so well as a Freshman. As for caring teachers you will not find a more dedicated and thoughtful group truly exceptional. Having spent 17 consecutive years with children in the school my husband and I both agree it was truly the best money we ever spent on our children. Check it out for yourself talk to the parents you'll see that the Exemplary rating is well deserved!

Bethany Lutheran has been a great school for our entire family for over 50 years. The best of both worlds...a Top Notch Academic Curriculum and a Fantastic Christian Education. An Impression that Lasts a Lifetime!!!! Thank you Bethany for being that pivotal starting point in our Lives.

All of my children attended Bethany and were more than prepared to meet the challenges of high school. Two were diagnosed with learning disabilities in the younger grades and by high school were no longer able to receive special services due to their remediation and advances in learning. Fine arts are available for all students and all grades with exceptional instructors that are accomplished artisans. Athletics include character development with skill improvement. The teachers make it a point to know each student and find ways to connect to the families. I highly recommend this school to others!

As a 2003 graduate of Bethany Lutheran School I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. The high academic standards held there set me up for success at a parochial college preparatory high school. I attended Baldwin-Wallace College where I got my Bachelor's Degree and teaching license and during this time I wanted nothing more than to complete my student teaching experience at Bethany which was absolutely wonderful. During my time at Bethany I never doubted that all the teachers truly cared for their students and wanted the absolute best for us. In addition to the great academics faculty and staff the school is exemplary in terms of its Christian values athletics fine arts and other extracurriculars. If I eventually have children and continue to live in the area I would be absolutely thrilled to send them to such a fine school.

Bethany Lutheran School truly is an exemplary school! I am a parent who choose this school over our community's public schools as well as other Lutheran Schools which were closer in proximity to where we live. The programs offered and curriculum continue to evolve. The teaching staff and administration are first class. They care about the school and their students and demonstrate this on a daily basis. Spiritually academically and socially Bethany is a special place!

As a graduate of Bethany I wouldn't have considered sending my children to any other school. I was very well prepared for high school as well as college both academically and spiritually. Bethany built a solid foundation for my faith and nurtured it as I continued to grow. At Bethany you are not just a number or a score on a test. You are part of a loving and supportive community. It is the reason I drive almost 30 minutes to bring my children to Bethany despite the fact that I live in a community where the public schools are rated Excellent. I want my children to be as academically and spiritually prepared as I was. I was absolutely shocked to see a review saying that a teacher was uncaring. I have had most of the teachers at Bethany as either teachers for one of my children or as a teacher myself and have never felt that any of them were anything but compassionate and caring.

Bethany is a GREAT School! We wouldn't send our daughter anywhere else nor does she desire to go another school. She has already told us we can't think of moving until she finishes the 8th grade. My husband and I both were shocked and in disbelief of the 2 bad reviews the school received below. Our daughter has been attending Bethany for the past 3 years we have found all the teachers and administration very tentative to our child's needs and questions. Bethany teachers provide a challenging quality education in a nurturing Christian environment. My daughter feels loved and safe at Bethany. We are very involved our daughter's activities and education. We have had numerous discussions with many of the parents of others students and have not found one parent who is disappointed with the quality of education or atmosphere at Bethany. One last comment. I saw on the overview of Bethany that the school is 96% white. While this may be the case I know from first hand experience that they do not discriminate nor do the non-white students feel any different than the white students that's more than I can say for the Parma Public my son went to. I wouldn't send my daughter to any other school. This is her second year at Bethany and she is very happy there and is on the honor roll. I can't believe all of the things she is learning! I like the accelerated reading program and the new math program they have rolled out this year. This school is very challenging and they really do strive to be the best. Their test scores have exceeded the national average and they are up to date on all the latest technology. You name it they have it! They offer many extracurricular activities which I really like. I think that's great for the kids to be able to participate in sports and other school activities! So far the kids seem to be very well behaved the teachers are great and I don't have any complaints!

Saw the last couple of a parent of two children who graduated from Bethany Lutheran and then went on to be very successful in High School I had to respond with some factual information. Bethany Lutheran last year was visited by a national accreditation team and not only accredited but was recommended to receive the highest level of accreditation "Exemplary"...the first Lutheran School in Ohio to receive this recommendation and one of only 5 Lutheran elementary schools nationally to receive the recommendation. Their principal last year was selected as the National Distinguished Lutheran Elementary Administrator by the Lutheran Education Association based in River Forest Illinois. While I respect the right for anyone to express their own opinions on this forum the parents of this school gave it a 96% approval rating when surveyed last year as part of their accreditation self study. This school has a challenging curriculum is a leader in using technology throughout its curriculum and prepares its students very well for High School. Their teachers are dedicated and caring and model their faith in Christ every day. My kids got a great education there.

The first thing that shocks me as I read these reviews is that the school has a "Community Rating" of four stars. These parents' children evidently never had the teacher my granddaughter had. Complaints taken to the principal were never addressed...because nothing ever changed. My own three children were raised in a Missouri Synod Lutheran school in Glendale AZ. It was WONDERFUL...the teachers were what teachers SHOULD be. The principal used his position to make sure every student received quality guidance each every subject...and the students' self-esteem sky-rocketed! Now that my granddaughter is no longer attending Bethany she has blossomed. If you think about it that's a sad statement for Bethany isn't it?? I don't know ALL of the teachers at Bethany so I'm not speaking of them. I only know what transpired in my granddaughter's class...and the principal knows. Nothing was ever done to rectify the situation. Therefore my granddaughter is now FLOURISHING at another private school and every single day is a joy for her. Thank God!!! I do want to add that her art teacher and her music teacher at Bethany were truly WONDERFUL and so VERY caring.

Transferred to a different school because of the lack of leadership with the administration. The teacher we had did not have one ounce of affection or acted like she liked what she was doing. It's so important to show the kids that you "want" to be there with them and smile. My child came home numerous times saying "I don't think the teacher likes kids". Not a school we would like to be we changed.

Bethany Lutheran is a GREAT school! I feel good when I drop my daughters off each morning. The teachers are caring and set an example for a Christ-centered environment. The children there are well-mannered and care about each other. The principal is always visible and approachable. Any questions or problems have been handled promptly and with a caring attitude. My kids are challenged with the academic program offered and they have been on honor roll every year. They are excited about school! It's our "home away from home."

My children have attended Bethany since preschool. They are well prepared for any achievement testing and exceed national averages. The teachers and staff are caring motivating and have a genuine love of the teaching profession. I have yet to meet a teacher that I do not like. The principal is seen every day in the hallways speaking with students and/or any parents that might be volunteering. When there are any issues that come up they are dealt with quickly and in a way that demonstrates the Christian values the school is founded on.

This school is not that good. Many of the kids in my class includeing me were made fun of daily. the students are not well behaved in the upper classes. the tachers are good but the students are not all very good learners.

This is the best school! Everyone is nice and the teachers are so helpful. Every kid in my classes since 1st grade has been on either merit or honor role. I love it here!

My daughter has attended Bethany Lutheran School for the past four years. I consider this school to be academically challenging which my daughter needs. They offer music art sports church activities. The other students are well behaved and mannered. Almost all of the parents take an active role in their children's education. The older students are great with the younger ones. I feel safe dropping my daughter off in the morning and know I don't have to worry about her. She has ADD and her teachers have gone above and beyond working with her. I can't really think of anything I don't like about the school.
