My daughter loves her school and her teacher. I have personally met librarian and staff and they are just great help. So far my daughter's teachers are great. I have no complaints.

Mary Burke Marek has a great librarian who has wlcomed me to work in the library. She also put me in touch with the PTA volunteer helper to have me signed to help in other school activites! I was very pleased to work at such a warm and friendly school!

This school is great. My child will move from Kindergarten to First Grade this year and she loves the teachers the principles. She is already looking forward to meeting her new teacher and heading back to school while there are still two weeks of summer break.

This school is wonderful. The teachers principals and parents are very involved. The teachers frequently teach more advanced material to the children. The school has a true community feel and many of the children bike and walk to school. The school also has a dedicated and hardworking PTO.

I love the new principals here. They are so pleasant to be around and you can tell that the students really enjoy them too.

This is our 3rd year at the school and the first year I have been unsatisfied. The educational quality has diministed under the new principals. The school is not as presentable and teachers are not as committed to the students. There seems to be less of a principal presence or the new principal does not have the same standards of quality as the previous one. My son's teachers are mean uncaring and unresponsive. I will not be surprised if the school loses its Exceptional rating this year.

The staff at Marek is very caring while still expecting a high level of responsibility from the students. We love it here.

The school is good academically. There however needs to be some improvements in creating more learning activities for the kids like field trips etc. The school staff and faculty is not very diverse.

I have been very pleased with this school. It is finishing it's second year in existance and my children are happy. I am very pleased with the staff and administration. I feel that they offer academic challenges and opportunities that are very beneficial for the children as well as music art and physical education. There are a handful of parents that are greatly involved in the school and PTO organization and it would be nice to have more help and involvement. This would be the only negative comment about the school. Regardless the school overall is a great learning environment for my children and I couldn't be more pleased. As a new school it will only get better as time goes on.

Newer school but lots of enthusiasm among teachers principal and parents. Nice diversity with lots of medical center employees' children. As the neighborhood grows this school will get better and have world-class facilities.

Brand new school this year. Facility is beautiful and the teachers are open to parent participation. They are a little slow in meeting the needs of gifted children but this could be due to being new.

This is a brand new school with great teachers.
