I have many concerns about Rogers Middle School. The school is packed with over 900 kids with 30 kids in the classroom. It makes me question the effectiveness of the teaching with a large class size when kids learn differently the harsh discipline for students who need it but good kids have to suffer less focus on the rules of writing and language arts as a whole because there is no state test for it and overall skimming from the service instead of going deeper because they are pressed for time due to the state test. If I was in a position to put my child in private school I would.

It's excellent. Honestly the teaching is quite impressive in my perspective. I think others should do great here.

The school advertises that it has advanced academic classes. The advanced classes mean more homework and more worksheets. The teachers drill and kill the kids to death with these worksheets. They are not allowed to be actively engaged in learning.

The school provides a very caring environment. The academic program is very good. However I would love to see a greater focus on the arts. I know that this is a challenge for most public schools.

this is really a great school. However there are not many choices for any extracurricular activities. No Art or Drama just band and choir only choices for students. You can not have well rounded students when they do not have something creative to do other than academics.

This is a great school. The principal makes all the difference. The kids are all well behaved and they really enjoy everything they learn so they really learn it.
