My son and daughter have attended FPMS for 3 yrs and have had a wonderful experience. They are both in accelerated classes and band and I cannot give enough praise to the teachers. My kids love going to school everyday!

Ferry Pass is a wonderful 'sleeper' school in that they offer so much for our children and yet no one seems to know about it. They have a great supportive staff and many opportunities for our children to participate in activities both during and after school.

My son is an eighth grader at Ferry Pass. He has by and large enjoyed his time there. The teachers seem adequate and some are truly exceptional. My grave concern is the administration. Collectively they are incapable of answering a direct question. You are given a large load of 'I can understand how you feel'. Absolutely no substance.

I've had several calls go unreturned & its extremely difficult to get a live person on the phone. The staff lacks people skills. Other than that my daughter has grown & does well.

Satisfactory academic and extracurricular programs but absolutely no parent involvement.

I am disgusted with FPMS. Parents are completely disregarded. Students are ruled by fear and treated with disrespect. I do not recommend this school to anyone.

My daughter attends the 7th grade at FPM. Although I know overall the school is good and has a caring staff I find that there is still room for improvement. I feel would benifit the children is less focus on the FCAT and more on the daily activities. Planners are sent home for parents to sign but are not check by the teachers. I have also had calls to FPM go unreturned. I hope to see more improvements.

I am a student at UWF and I completed my second internship at Ferry Pass I was very impressed at the professionalism of the ESE teachers and staff. I was 'scared to death' at teaching for the first time and everyone was both supportive and helpful. This is a quality enviroment.

My daughter is returning as an eighth grader and she loves this school; her younger brother will begin sixth grade this year. My brother and I attended this middle school when we were their age and I'm happy to report that many of the same fine teachers are still on staff. I have also found the guidance department to be exceptional. The school is located in a nice neighborhood where many parents of former as well as new students and surrounding neighbors are very involved. They offer a variety of excellent music classes and have an impressive sports program in place. I'm pleased that my children have the opportunity to attend Ferry Pass Middle School and would highly recommend it to other parents looking for an 'A+' school for their adolescent children.

My daughter is a 7th grader and loves her school. The teacher are great. Nurse Heather is wonderful with my daughter and her knee problem. My daughter has been able to opt out of PE for two years and this school has found her a need job. She has been a library assistant and also a dean's assistant. My daughter just received a letter of invitation to join the Junior Beta Club this past friday April 22 and the school sponsor has already replied to my e-mails asking about parent involvement. I guess this last couple of words sum Ferry Pass Middle up. We love it.

Some of the teachers just don't seem to care about the students. I feel that my daughter is being left behind.

My daughter is currently working on making a web-page for the school for her science fair project in Mrs. Riffenburg's class. The site location should be anounced soon. It is 'unofficial' but does have information that my daughter has gathered from the teachers administrators and students.
