Michigan Merit Examination (MME)

In 2011-2012 Michigan used the Michigan Merit Examination (MME) to assess students in grade 11 in reading, writing, math, science and social studies. The MME is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Michigan. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.

As a student here I can't explain how happy I am to attend here. I moved my junior year and disliked my new school. I had the opportunity to return my senior year and am so glad that I got it. Petoskey is not like other schools. Cliques don't exist and everyone is friends with everyone. It's a very safe environment full of good kids. The teachers are very helpful and wonderful I never had a teacher I didn't like. If you are thinking of moving to Petoskey there is no need to worry about your child having problems at this school.
