Chester Arthur has made many changes in the last year. They have a wonderful new principal as well as an arts and drama program. The kindergarten class is actually very small with only 18 students. The school has a very involved supporting organization in the community called Friends of Chester Arthur (FoCA). This school is well on its way to improving for the future.

The new leadership (ie. principal) at this school has created an awesome energy - the staff students and community are all a part of this exciting change.

I've been involved in this school for the past 4 years (I have a child who will enter Kindergarten there in 2016) and I've been amazed at what a little gem it is. The Principal is amazing the teachers are great and the students arrive eager to learn. It's a small neighborhood school and I'd encourage any prospective families to check it out.

This school has undergone a recent change in administration and the results have not been positive. The staff has some very strong teachers but there is no saying how many will come back to a school whose administration is proving to be more of an obstacle than a benefit.
