Your children need to be enrolled here. The byline Big Thinking Small School says it all. Both our sons have gone through the school from Pre3 to 8th grade. . This exceptional educational program along with the loving home environment at the academy the personal commitment by the entire staff and their dedication to the growth of each student both academically and personally makes this the school your children need to be enrolled at. Our family knew the cost in dollars when we started at the school we can now look back and see where our boys are today and realize that we could not put a price tag on what our sons have gotten from HCA.

Horrible School!!!!!! My child went here and only lasted 6 weeks! They instantly wanted to medicate my child after I paid my full tuition fees! This school is bogus! I was very disappointed in the quality of education recieved there. Too many kids in one class for all this money you pay.

This school is over the top!!! My child has learned so much from her teachers. They go all the way to making sure your kid learns and understands the work. Not only do they also learn to obey respect and honor their parents.

My child has attended HBCA since 2nd grade and this school has been such a blessing to her and our ENTIRE family. If there is an issue best believe they are on the job. The teachers are wonderful and they see to it that children with learning issues are being adequately helped. There have been a couple new teachers that "would not be returning" after one year. I personally think it's because they did not deliver. One thing that we as parents are a little tired of is the fundraising (smile) but that is in place to keep activities free or at a very low cost . Keep in mind this is private and privately funded so there is no state help. I would recommend this school to any family who wants to instill Christ and the real world and not just religion. I could never thank these people for what they have given my child. We love our Holmesburg family!

My son has been attending HBCA for 6 years. The staff is wonderful!! They are very caring and show it to the students. I wouldn't want my son at any other school. I'm thankful for a safe place for my child where Jesus is taught.

Perhaps there is a reason this teacher is no longer at the school and it has nothing to do with the quality of the school. I hope people who read the previous statement read between the lines.

I taught at this school for a while and it has gone down dramatically. It's a shame.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL!!!! The staff at this school does not care about the children only when they will receive their next tuition payment. They don't take action on serious matters. the whole staff are friends with eachother and I have caught them even talking bad about parents and children. NOT WORTH THE MONEY POOR TEACHER QUALITY. I have removed my kids from this school a year ago I they are much happier at their new school and so am I.

Holmesburg Baptist Christian Academy has been a blessing to me and my family. The teaching staff support staff and Administration go beyond what is required of them professionally. They care about the whole child and the whole family. My two children are growing academically and spiritually in ways that public school and other private schools cannot measure up too. H.B.C.A. is every parents' dream.

I had two children attend Holmesburg Baptist Christian Academy. After they graduated they often commented how well H.B.C.A. prepared them for high school. They are now in college and I credit H.B.C.A with their continued success. H.B.C.A. is a secret that needs to be told!

HBCA provides a high quality education with strong Christian values . The students and teachers are like family and the faculty genuinely cares for each student . The small class size environment fosters a close relationship between student and teachers.

This is a great school! The staff and students and parents are all like one big happy family! When you send your child to HBCA not only is your child getting a great education but they are taught wonderful christian values1The children are sweet .The staff and teachers genuinly care about their students. The art teacher is wonderful and now they even offer summer art camp1Send your child will not regret it!

This school is absoluteely wonderful! Staff are very involved and caring (genuinely). Some invite their children and their families to their home for summer BBQs and their weddings! They celebrate your child's success in national winnings of art contests by joining the ceremony on their days off! There share their private home and cell numbers to thee parents -) The parents are awesome too and everyone I have met has been more than happy w/ the cirriculum and w/ the CHristianity they are surrounded by. It's not a question of 'Can we afford this for the children?' It's more like 'How can we/I not?' Consider HBCA -) It would be the best move you made.

This is a great small school. The teacher's are great and are open minded to children with learning disablities. They do provide services but are limited.

I love this school! The teachers and administration truly care about the students and work hard to help each student. I am especially impressed with the amount of Biblical knowledge they teach. As for 28 kids I'm not sure what the poster is referring to. Most classes have 15-20 students.

When I initially sent my child to HBCA I was like any parent wanting the best for their child however HBCA did not deliver. There is a total lack of management from the administrators to the teachers. When there is a situation that calls for action or answers all they can provide is excuses. If you can save your time and money because HBCA is not worth effort.

If you're looking for a school that witholds academic and spiritual teachings this is you're jackpot. I'm a graduate of HBCA (2008) andi have been in that school for over 10 years. I can tell you that I had made many friends and learned more and more about God every day. Your child will be blessed if they were to go there. They have a gret staff and all the kids are like one big family. If I were amazed by this school you will too.

I have enrolled my child in the pre-k program and can already in October of the school year see great progress. She is confident and eager. The teacher is very caring about everything that has gone on in the child's life. I feel I made an excellant choice in HBCA.

Love this school. My son has been there for 5 years and it has helped him grow academically and spiritually. One more thing I have never seen a class with 28+ kids. I cannot speak for preschool but from 3rd to now 7th grade we have had 20-22. Much better than the 30+ that you hace in public/schools.

I'm not impressed. The classes are very over crowded. 30 kids per class 1 teacher no aids. They will tell you that it's 'Only temporary' but my daughter has been there 2 years in a row and both years her class has been 28+ kids. Not worth the money.
