I+ am Deaf Mother of Hearing Child. I considered about my child would transfer from another school to Penn Treaty Middle School. I talked with someone on phone. She/He hung up on me very rudeness! What is that?

My child loves this school. I think the staff is wonderful . Every person in this school puts the children and parents first. When i call with any concerns I may have or just general questions someone always has time to talk to me.The teachers are the best and really motivate the kids. Whenever I stop by the office staff are helpful and the principle and vice principle make themselves available to parents .They are involved with the students not hiding behind a closed door.I SAY KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK PENN TREATY!!!

This school is terrible. The teachers are lazy the children are uneducated and unruly. The school should be shut down.

I am a former student of the wonderful PTMS! That school helped me so much! I was very shy until I began attending Penn Treaty. And every teacher I ever had there was amazing! They were the most helpful caring people you'd ever meet. I love PTMS and thank God everyday that I chose to go there for middle school. Oh the education I received was top notch. The teachers really care about the students. Don't blame the lack of supplies and/or books on the school or the principle! They can't help that the school district is a run by a bunch of unorganized retards.

Penn treaty is an awesome school ! at penn treaty we have a great staff & some of the best students in the city. I have been to many schools in phila. & I can truly say 'our staff goes so far out of our way to help our students learn.' I wish it were also true in more of our other philly schools. The student population here is very diverse & yet there is a harmony amongst us. If i had a child of middle school age i would proudly send him/her to penn treaty knowing they would get a fine education as well as a cultural experience that will benefit them for a lifetime ! sincerely steve fleisher teacher penn treaty m.S.

The children are not taught at Penn Treaty. They are prepared for the PSSA and nothing else. This school is lacking an ability to prepare children for the real world as are most of schools in Philadelphia. I sincerely pray that the crime rate drops so that Mayor Nutter can focus on the real problem that plagues this city.. LACK OF EDUCATION!

This school is not very well run. There are never enough books or supplies. My son did not have a regular teacher for 6 weeks. When asked about the problems the principal says there is nothing he can do.

Sadly Penn Treaty has become a disaster over the last 2 years. The principle has no control over the students. Most of the teachers have left the school and the new teachers try hard but are clearly overwealmed.

I think this school is a blessing for our family. Since we put our child in this school last year He has improved in his work and his teacher is really great with the kids she has in her room. I think Penn Treaty is a great school However I think they need more aids and also the children should have their own books also.

I am very disapointed with the quality of learning that goes on in this school. My son is a very intellengent student and he is not challenged at all. He recieves no books to do homework . Some of the children in this school are free to act anyway they feel fit with no punishment. We need better structure and better was of education.
