Southwark Elementary School in Philadelphia PA. A gem of a school with amazing kids and families a community standing behind it and in need of a playground funding for more translation services and funding/resources for out of school time activities to make it excellent.

I had the pleasure of volunteering at this school at the start of the 2013-2014 school year and I was impressed! The staff children and parents were all very warm and welcoming. There is a new principal at the school who is very dedicated to the kids and the neighborhood. With the help of parents and the community I think we will continue to see great things happening at Southwark!

So far so good I really like this school and it is one of the only on the South Regional district with afterschool programs. My son's teacher has been excellent and the principal is very nice.
