Biltmore Preparatory has turned out to be an excellent choice for us. We are approaching the end of our son's 2nd year (2 grade) there and we have no plans of moving schools in the future. We originally chose this school based on their curriculum and the genuine personality that principle Ms. Burtamekh has. I love that Burtamekh knows almost every family says hello and makes us feel welcomed everyday. The office staff is always friendly and helpful. Every teacher my son has had has been professional and capable. Our son is in gifted & Spanish immersion and I am constantly impressed by the material he's learning. They even have homework on Apple Ipads a few times during the week which is both fun for the kids and relevant in our technologically driven world. I feel that there is not a lot of hype surrounding BPA (as there is around other comparable schools in the general area) which is what I like about it. It's a great school that is known to be wonderful by the families that attend. I hope it continues to succeed and enhance the learning environment for the children.

I attended this school as a young girl when it was Squaw Peak many years ago and boy has it evolved! Biltmore Prep is a one of a kind school. The teachers and parents are super involved in the education and well-being of the children. I drive 30 miles one way to bring my daughter to school here and every penny I spend on gas is well worth it. My programs are diverse. The focus on furthering education is always a priority to the teachers. I am so pleased with this school and the tools it has given my daughter. From the Janitors to the Principle everyone is equal and so deserving of praise. This is not a school for slackers or naughty behavior however if you or your child suffers from those things this staff is well equipped to nip it in the butt. They hold ever person accountable and it makes for responsible parents teachers & children. If I could give Biltmore 10 stars I would. I am sad to say we will miss Biltmore as we are needing to move out of state. I just pray we can find another school as wonderful. THANK YOU BILTMORE PREP FOR SUCH OUTSTANDING CARE THIS YEAR!

So far this school and the teachers have been excellent. We are really loving the Spanish immersion program. We live out of district so we feel extremely lucky to be attending such a great school! It's nice to see all the teachers and parents taking so much pride in our school.

Biltmore Prep Academy is an amazing and wonderful school. The parents and teachers are very involved with making this school the best for our kids. Being our first year we are extremely happy so far. Communication is excellent and our kids couldn't be happier. The teachers here are truly amazing!! We came here for the Spanish immersion program which is excellent and so glad we did!

We love Biltmore Prep! The teachers and staff are so dedicated to enhancing my children's education they go out of their way each and every day to ensure the students receive a high quality education. The curriculum is challenging; parents are encouraged to get involved; there are tons of extracurricular activities to choose from; and my children are thriving. What's not to love!?

My daughter has been here for 3 years and my son just started kindergarten. We feel so blessed to have found the hidden gem in our neighborhood. we actually bought our house to be in the Madison district but went here instead because of the raving reviews from other parents. the staff here is amazing.Teachers go above and beyond. My kids are in the Foreign language immersion program. highly recommend it. the principal is dedicated to improving the school and parents are very involved. Nothing bad to say!

Biltmore Prep is an amazing school! Choosing the right school for my children was daunting considering the options we are offered through open enrollment in Arizona. I am so incredibly pleased that we went with BPA. Our kids are in the foreign language immersion program and are receiving an amazing comprehensive education. The entire faculty and staff are kind courteous and knowledgeable. It's obvious they love what they do!

Biltmore Prep is the best! I love that my children will be bilingual and the school offers many excellent after school enrichment activities such as Chinese First Lego League Piano Violin Soccer Chess Choir and Gymnastics in addition to competitive inter-scholastic athletics.

Biltmore Prepatory Academy is an amazing school with dedicated staff and parents. BPA offers my child an excellent bilingual education in a caring and intimate setting. The teachers staff and principal are commited to excellence and the education of our children. The parental community is dedicated to the students and school.

We transferred our daughter to Biltmore Prep for the Foreign Language Immersion program. She learns half the day in Spanish and the other half in English and we are thrilled that she will be bilingual at such an early age. Her teachers are truly gifted you can tell there is a great bit of thought put into every minute of classroom time and every homework assignment (there is no busy work here). The administration and the parent community helped to make her transition very smooth and we have been very pleased with our decision.

No other school has a happy office staff...need i say more. ) Band starts @ forth grade. English instruction before lunch and Spanish instruction after; starting in kindergarten. Breakfast in classroom. Parents have to invest 40 hrs a yr. My kindergartner wakes me up to take him to school almost every morning! and my 4th &2nd grader are right behind him. The only reason this school is not a 10 is because they are diverse and take every child and not just the high scoring ones IMHO. This school is the one! -Brian

I love my child's first grade teachers! They inspire and motivate and think of new creative ways to make learning fun. They are challenging my child all while being kind and nurturing. The level of parental involvement and support at the school is phenomenal.

Squaw Peak is truly an awesome school! With wonderful staff lot's of electives and excellerated cirruclium I couldn't ask for more from this school. For my daughters 6th grade school I moved her from Christ Lutheran to Squaw Peak because of problems with bullying and although i was nervous at first i couldn't be happier. Squaw Peak (or Biltmore Prep. Academy as of the 2011 school year) is an amazing school.

Well Kindergarten is over and it's on to first grade at Squaw Peak Traditional. What a great year. The teachers are true professionals who connected so well with our child and the rest of the class. Class size is small and the school is a fun and loving community that feels like a second home. The Spanish immersion adds so much to the program and the kids just love it and think it's normal. I can't wait to see where this school goes over the next few years. We simply couldn't be more satisfied or feel more lucky to have such a great public school in our neighborhood.

I find SPTA to be a place of warmth growth and acceptance. The new principal Mrs. Burtamekh has truly contributed to this very positive environment and has continued the positive change that the last principal and district started. Unfortunately she does have her hands full. Our community is extremely demanding in many ways (and it should be.) Some of the teachers at the school are not happy and they contribute disharmony to the school and the administrators by being negative. Thankfully the school is getting better at combatting these issues and once the unhappy negative people start vacating this otherwise wonderful campus things can only improve! I look forward to meeting the new teachers and am excited about all we will accomplish in the future.

My son just his first year in the Foreign Language Immersion program at this school. He knows so much Spanish I am amazed. His knowledge of English and sight words as an emerging reader is impressive as well. By the end of the school year they were working on math that my 2nd grader (at another school) did in the beginning of second grade. I think the advanced curriculum at this school is challenging without being overwhelming. I simply cannot say enough good things about the school his teacher or the prinicpal. You all have my full support!

Our child has learned so much this year! She loves her teachers is excited to go to school each day and is doing challenging work well beyond her grade level. There are small classes technology music art after school chess soccer & tennis programs and on top of it all she is learning Spanish every day as part of an immersion program. I was nervous about making the switch to this school but I am so happy we did!
