I am a parent and i think this school needs to improve a little more. My opinion is that this school needs to be a little more stricter and teachers more active and put a little more attention to students. My child used to be in 8th grade and said some teachers were sitting in their chairs instead of teaching like they need to. I had another child she was in 6th grade but she liked the school really much and i liked how her teachers taught. But she was really happy my other daughter wasn't that happy with her teachers. But I'm happy that they still liked it. But I'm still looking forward for the school to improve.

I am a parent and i think this school is horible the teachers are nice but the ofice members including the principle mr. Scott winters are very rude because when a student gets in trouble for fighting they always blame the kid they pick and i think that that isnt right which is why i am happy this school year is over for my child because for 8th grade my child is going to be moving on to estrella middle school because atkinson is not a very pleasent place.

My son was in the first class to graduate from the school. Even though he was bullied at times the way the assistant principal handled it was great. the school and staff is wonderful. the after school activities are great.
