this school is so disgusting like everywhere it is completely filthy especially the bathrooms and the students here just run the school its really horrible they have no absolute respect for authority or anyone in general! there are only a few decent teachers here some are completely unfair or have no idea what they are teaching and they do not know how to control a class or simply do not care! i've only learned in my geometry class this year the rest are just a waste of my time. i have to go to this school for another 3 years to slowly watch my education plummet don't make the mistake of sending your child here.

I brought my daughter to enroll with Mrs. Yost and she made our experience very pleasureable! She was very calm and knew her job very well. I don't understand why ANYONE would complain about this very nice lady she does her job very well. Maybe others should speak to her in a calm and nice way or get enough sleep so they aren't so cranky.

In trying to enroll my son into Pinole Valley High School Ms. Yoast is rude and clearly "red tape" as you attempt to enroll your child. she is not a great representation for school enrollment and needs a vacation ASAP! Also this school badly needs facility upgrades!! With all the money from the CA Lottery supposedly benefiting our schools they clearly have missed Pinole Valley High!

The restrooms at this school are horrible. There is toilet water all over the floor and no toilet tissue in the stalls. Out of 4 stalls only one have toilet tissue in them. These restrooms and extremely unsanitary and should be throughly cleaned immediately. Also the toilets have dirt all over them. Those restrooms are rediculous.

Pinole Valley High has a diverse student/ teacher population. Lots of participation in the school and our community! An involved principal who is supportive of the many extracurricular activities. The only school in our district that offers the West County Conservatory of the after school program offering students a chance to further their learning in Dance Music Vocal and Theatre. The conservatory programs are only supported by donations and fundraisers. The board is made up of teacher/ parent/ student volunteers. Students must maintain high grades and commit to practice and participation in their field of interest to be a member. With 3 years participation they can earn a specialty diploma at graduation.Pinole Valley struggles with severe budget cuts and loss of teachers.. the school spirit can still be seen and dedication to offer the West County Conservatory of the Arts is proof that parents/ staff and students want to offer all they can to encourage kids to follow their dreams!

Pinole Valley is not a desired school to send your children too. The students run the school and most have no respect for authority much less a parent walking by. The classes are so loud my student could not learn a thing. It saddens me to see this school being taken over by outsiders it certainly is not a neighborhood school. The best thing for my family was seeing our child exit that school.

Pinole Valley High School has the coolest staff and students. Being a high school in the Bay Area it has an extremely diverse student core. Despite it's small-ish campus it does what it can to serve it's students and provide an education. [2004]

Need more parent involvement to support the student effort. Too many times students are forced out of worthy and effective engagements by parent disinterest.
