Anybody that can but up with my son and still find good in him is loving and caring and shows that they're not just there for the pay. I love the Pinson school system because they have shown love to my children. I have 2 kids that have been there from Palmerdale to Pinson High and have 4 to go and I refuse to put them anywhere else.

Because they are willing to go the extra mile to do what is needed for the children.....

Even though my fellow students and i believe there are somethings that are not fair. It is an over all good school.I love it and being now that it is my senior year i will miss it when i leave.

Pinson is a great school but the new schedule is horrible. A lot of people are going to be failing this year because of the stress of trying to take 8 classes all year now. It'd be prefevt if we had the old schedule back.

i love pinson because its so much laughter at the school the falculty and staff loves everyone especially the principal i can actually say pvhs is what i stand for and i love all my pepsquad yearbook and diamond doll members.

This school is taking great steps to prepare my son for whatever comes after high school. We love the new AP and PreAp programs and the Freshman Academy is one of the most innovative things I've seen out of a public school in years. I am proud to call PV home.

Excellent administrative staff and super teachers

PVHS was granted a huge access learning grant this year and with the addition of 2 new principals the year is going really well! With the new fine arts center and science buildings underway you can feel the excitement and pride the staff and students are experiencing. My students love school here and have been very successful in their academic pursuits. Teachers are very committed to the students and try in every way to be available to them. Great school with a home town feel.

I love Pinson school district because it is fun ivroment for students and now the new principals are muking things even better the only thing i have a problem with is next years crazy scedual.I wish they would just leave the block scedual in play or go back to periods insted.

Hopefully since Mrs.Brown is now in charge things will get better. She has always shown the students respect and in return the students respect her.

I think PVHS is a good school they just seem to have some issues. A lot of times you don't know what's going on with your child unless they play sports. You aren't warned if your child is failing until later in the year and teachers don't seem to go the extra distance to ensure that you are aware of your child's progress. I will say this the schools policies are good and the new principle is also very involved and trying to change the overall expectations of the school as a whole and keeping the parents involved. I'm sure that if PVHS stays on the right track the school will truly be a more rounded school by the time my daughter at Rudd Middle gets there.

I love pinson valley it rocks my socks

I currently go to pinson and i have to agree that this school has gone to the dogs!!!! We may be a low budget school but this is rediculous!!!! The teachers dont know what their doing and expect us to already know what their talking about. nobody learns anything anyways so reading their minds is deffently out of the question!!!! Its not like we choose to be here so please lighten up on the rude comments!!

I am very concerned about PVHS they have a sub standard academic program that they try to cover up in the interest of sports. Also there is little exposure to the arts. The students do not graduate with the level of exposure of students at other schools that have a curriculum sub standard to PVHS. While the academics and arts leave something lacking in the students parent involvement and the sports program is wonderful. If that is all you need for your child you will be in great shape!

PVHS is the worst school. It has the worst teachers. They do not care about teaching. None not one of my teachers ever cared if the class understood the lesson just if they were on time and able to finish all the agenda for the day.

My daughter has been in the Pinson school system since the 6th grade and is now a freshman @ PVHS. She has struggled with her grades for most of this time but I am glad to say that she just received her first report card for this year and had 3 A's and 1 C. I think this says a lot about PVHS. Whether it be the quality of the curriculum the teachers or just the general environment it is working out well for my daughter.

Pinson has changed my life by allowing me to open doors that I had never even had access to before. I encourage the students and the faculty to continue to move foreward!

PVHS is doing a very good job and the scores show it. My children are excelling due to their effort the faculty's effort and my own personal involvement. This formula is the key to success. This coming year PVHS will offer dual enrollment on campus. This will further the opportunities that this school has to offer.

I was a student at Pinson for one year. My senior year. My mother moved to the Pinson area my last year of high school. Before I attended Pinson I was a student at Ensley High School. Some of these reviews are downing Pinson area schools but I totally disagree. I was so upset with my mother for moving out there my SENIOR year. I was leaving my friends; I had to leave my comfort zone. I can say one thing though... It was well worth it. I learned so much more in that one year than I did three years at Ensley High. The teachers at Pinson were very concerned about our education and they did everything in their power to help us. I am so happy my hig school years ended at Pinson Valley High. My three younger brothers are all in Pinson area schools. Thanks mom!
