Don't send your child to this school. Lazy unresponsive teachers. Some teacher expect students to know everything...

Our children had many wonderful teachers well oiled system and good education. They thrived and made wonderful memories. Teachers and students manage things independently and parents don't feel any pressure great experience.

Renner is an awesome school. Our kids had a wonderful time here. Renner provides a top notch educational standard great extracurriculars and an environment to thrive. We can't praise it enough.

Unresponsive staff. I have emailed several times to counselor and administration with slow to zero responses back concerning incorrect class schedule and incorrect information uploaded into the parent portal. Also the school doesn't communicate with parents for new coming students or 6th grade on class times or bell changes so we can better prepare and organize for our 6th graders. It's like they feel you suppose to know certain things. How can a parent help their child have a smooth year without admin informing them of basic information. I received handouts to initial that read certain items and never received the handouts/rules to do so. I had high hopes coming into this school but that has passed. If it doesn't get better I do not plan on having my daughter at this middle school for 7-8 grade. Oh and this back to school bash they had to meet parents was a joke! Several parents stopped and asked me where are the teachers for the students to meet but that didn't happen. I had a couple of teachers approach me and point out one person to just say hi". No teachers were in the room. This school will get a low score until they implement some improvements.

Not satisfied with the school at all or the school district. For our family it is not worth it

Most of the teachers are great. Counselor and one of the teachers need a bit of work with communication and treating people as equal.

Great school! I'm a student and I wouldn't want to be at any other school in Dallas than Renner! I learn and catch on so fast. The teachers always think of great ways and strategies to make you ace all your test and quizzes. the teachers are so nice and easy to get to know! if you are looking for a middle school in west plano RENNER IS THE WAY TO GO!

This school is one of the best in the Dallas metroplex. Whenever my child seems to be struggling teachers and tutorials are there for her. The school is known for its exemplarily test scores and I am very proud to have my child grow up at Renner.

I really have fun at Renner its a place where I can enjoy myself and talk to my friends between classes!

Renner Middle School is an outstanding school. The students tend to be very motivated and happy and just generally nice kids! The teachers are hard-working professionals who truly want the best for the child. The Administration is outstanding; the former principal chosen a regional Principal of the Year. It is a top-achieving school; and students are challenged to become their best. I would say a good 98% of the parents are supportive and involved (and make the best casseroles for teacher appreciation week!)

Renner Middle School is a tremendous example of why America deserves a voucher system for school choice. Weak administration. Lazy (most)teachers. Teachers pile on homework and expect the parents to partner with them yet take no responsibility for the child s performance. If your child can march in their Stalinistic system and if you re prepared to be a full time teacher your children may do well. Our sons scored 'commended' on the state 'TAKS' test but are able only to muster by with marginal grades. Grading has much more to do with behavior rather than substance. Mastery of material is secondary to style and teaching to the TAKS test. Having no online system to empower parents with the ability to monitor homework is inexcusable given the tax base in this community.
