Hi my name is Amy Atkinson. I would like to say a few things about Poca Elementary and its staff along with the parents of the students. Poca elementary has a huge amount of parents that would love to help out at this school. Although only few are involved with or informed of events that are to take place. The teachers and staff for the most part are very friendly although as with most places of business you have a handful that we'd love to see smile! Lastly with every organization or business we must have a leader. This leader takes on a huge responsibility. As they say "everything rolls downhill". When you are working with children it's not the blame that they get it's what they get from your example. Lead by example. Act exactly as you'd want them to say it with the same respect you'd expect from them listen once like there is nothing more important then make your decision and stand firm. If once you see something happening that you don't like find out where it started. Don't start pointing fingers back to the drawing board. Get a pencil and some paper and sit down at your desk. Ok You ready to write? Where is that eraser pointing? That's where you need to start.
