Pennsylvania System of State Assessments (PSSA)

In 2011-2012 Pennsylvania used the Pennsylvania System of State Assessments (PSSA) to test students in grades 3 through 8 and 11 in math and reading, in grades 5, 8 and 11 in writing, and in grades 4, 8 and 11 in science. The results for reading, writing and math are displayed on GreatSchools profiles. The PSSA is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Pennsylvania. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the test.

This school is HORRIBLE! BULLIES BULLIES EVERYWHERE.... even the principal he told my son that he has to face his BULLY instead of helping him.... Well now we home school him! I wouldn't send my dog to this school never mind a child!!!

I went to this school for 8th and 9th grade. The kids are welcoming to new students and the teachers are freaking amazing! I enjoyed all of my teachers I had throughout both years. The classes are fun as well as challenging. I had an amazing two years at this school )

This school is alright. But there is way to much drama here. All the kids think there better then everyone else when there not. If everyone stopped with the drama the time everyone else spends in school would be better. The teachers are nice but some are very judgmental towards certain students. But otherwise I think this school has a very good curriculum and staff.
