I really like this school. The teachers are all great so far and all the faculty are all very nice. The one thing about the school that I don't like is the "common core standards". I don't like this "new" government way of teaching kids. First they indoctrinate our kids and then they force government health care on everyone. Not to mention they watch everything we do. They're studying our children and we're allowing this. What happened to the America I grew up in???

Chasco is an outstanding elementary school dedicated to the students and families it serves. The teachers kind and caring knowledgeable and highly skilled. I've been a teacher for 30+ years in another district and have served in a variety of capacities. I choose to have my grandchildren attend Chasco through schools of choice because I know for a fact that their individual needs will be addressed through a rigorous curriculum. The most important reason though is because Chasco teachers LOVE their children!
I pulled my special needs son from this school and put him in another school that he now loves he was extremely academically behind in this school. If you check their grade on the Florida Department of Education website this school has a C grade my sons new school has an A grade as well as an 8 on here unlike Chasco's 3... I would not recommend this school my biggest regret is letting my son stay as long as he did -(
All three of my kids go to Chasco. One in Elem. and two in Middle. They all love it there. My oldest daughter is in ESE and has been on the Honor Roll since attending this school. Both my middle schoolers love the activities and school spirit. My youngest can't wait for 3rd grade. She's already asking for a certain teacher in for 4th grade. I've have nothing but good things to say about Chasco Elem and Middle school.
My nephews came to live with me and I asked around about different schools in the area. Chasco is our neighborhood school and I had heard mixed reviews. I weighed different options and decided to send them to Chasco. I couldn't be happier. The teachers are fantastic and my nephews love school. I am so impressed with what they are learning. It is so wonderful to get up in the morning and never hear "I don't want to go to school." In my book this is an A+ school!!
Horrible school. Horrible staff that have bad attitudes. Always given wrong information about everything....is any is even given.
I have my daughter who is hard of hearing also i m deaf mother..she really really tried to work hard and she cant stop learning she alway insisted with improvement by teacher Mrs. Middleton and her assistance teacher were the one who makes the great supporter for her attitude level and behavior stable. I can see she will be Successful from that school..She always said I love school!
I am extremely impressed with Chasco Elementary. The teachers work very hard to help the students acheive their potential. The office staff (while understaffed) have been very helpful throughout the several years that my children have attended Chasco. My children enjoy Chasco and if there are any problems they are handled promptly
My daughter is in Kindergarten and I believe Mrs. Miller is one of the best teachers for introducing children to the educational system. Chasco also teaches school pride which I believe is lacking in most school systems.
The school is overcrowed however which school isnt. It is new and quite modern. The teachers and staff are very good. One problem is they do not allow walkers or bike riders while many other elementary schools do. This presents quite an expense for a working parent with an over 2 mile radius for bus transportation requirement; a federal law which should be reviewed. My children live 1.7 miles and one is in elementary while the other is in middle at Chasco with different time frames. Overall this year seems to be going well. I believe they are getting a very good education from qualified and caring teachers. They both agree the lunch menu could be improved.
this school has too many children in the class room my son is in grade 1 and there are 29 in his class. This has proven to be very disruptive. We need smaller class sizes!
One of the best principals and teaching staff in Pasco County.
I just had my son transferred to Chasco middle and my son really enjoys going to school now. The teachers he has are all great and with the smaller classrooms the teachers are able to give more one on one then in other schools. Thanks Chasco keep up the great work.
I love Chaco Elem. for my son and peronally think the teachers are wonderful & caring people. My son has had difficulty with his reading this year and with the help of Mrs. Middleton and her helpers he has gone up several levels. Thank you Chasco Elem.
