This school is in bad shape financially and physically due to very low enrollment and horrible management!! They claim that most of their students go to college. However they do NOT tell you that most of their student cannot survive in a college program and leave after the first year. They do NOT prepare students for college or vocational careers!!!

If you have a child struggling in school this is where you want to send them. First they rebuild their confidence then they establish how they learn best. The staff is extremely caring and very dedicated. My child attended lower and middle school until we moved away. He hated school until he went to Vincent Smith. I give it an A+.
They individualize instruction for each student's educational and emotional needs.
This was our 1st year at Vincent Smith and I could not be happier. My son was stuggling just to keep up and it was a emotional/mental strain on our family. We came from another nonsecular private school where we were very happy but the workload became harder for him as he got into the high school. Now he feels succesful there is no more fighting about homework and there is peace at home. And I am proud to say that he has made "Honor Roll" every semester. The child didn't even know what an Honor Roll was!
My son is now in his third year of college after attending Vincent Smith School middle and high school. The help and support that the administration gave to me and my family when choosing a school was so wonderful that we were able to not only find the right fit for my son but also get a small scholarship. Also in college the academic organizational skills and study skills he learned at VSS keeps his grades in the B range. Dollar for dollar VSS was the best investment in my son's future we could ever have made.
I think this school is great in the lower and middle grades for building self esteem and teaching kids in a supportive manner. However the school boasts a large percentage of students attending college. I do not think that the High Schoo prepares students for the the demands of college
Sending your child to this school gives one peace of mind.
