Things that are good our students do like teachers Grades k-8 plenty of good reports and then the family is speechless. To much drama especially in the female sports sector whose the coach and whose player no established art program our children are not academically challenged its somewhat of a mess to say the least at the higher education levels 9-12. There are plenty of good characters and leaders in the school program just time for some others to step up and show it to compliment those that already do. Still appears to be a lack of academic direction. Never been in system where child couldn't play fall sport and be in band. When I asked superintendent his response was that was up to the band director. When did the band director start setting guidelines like that. I've never heard so many negative comments from athletes about atheletic program direction and leadership overall. Where are athletic and academic directors when needed. Being nice guys ain't getting it done men. We ain't leaving cause there's work to be done. Where there is lots of smoke it generally indicates a fire. If you're offended you are part of problem. We ain't happy with 6 out of 10

I would really like to read some recent reviews. We are considering moving into the district before our daughter starts kindergarten and we aren't very familiar with the district. Thank you

I graduated in 2005 as part of the first graduating class since 1972. The teachers students and parents at this school incorporate tremendous pride and effort into everything they do both academic and extracurricular. I believe that most of Priceville's low ratings on this site are due to the poor leadership that has guided the school for the past three years. But parents don't let that stop you from sending your child here because significant changes in leadership took place over the holiday break. I'm confident that these changes will restore Priceville's reputation as the premier public school in Morgan County.

As a recent graduate of Priceville High School I can talk from experience. I had some great inspiring teachers throughout my high school year. Yes the school is going downhill and part can be blamed on the Principals. Most can be blamed on the Morgan County Board of Education. They hate Priceville for some reason and try there best to ruin it. Overall I love Priceville and when I have kids of my own I would love to send them there. I'm a Bulldog at heart and will always be.

We were forced to use a private institution to educate our children. We are very disappointed in the leadership and quality of teachers. I only think at this point it can go uphill. I hope the quality teachers that are there now hold out for a school system that needs them. Ask the school what they do with your gifted children.

This school used to be a great school but no discipline no leadership and a school board that doesn't care. I don't know if it can be fixed or not but we have tried for 2 years to help make it better but no one seems to want to do anything about it.

I say Pricville High School is the best school in Morgan County.God has bless us in so many ways. We have so much to be proud of. Thanks to Mr.Guy Bowling. He does so much for our school. He is always encouraging us to do our best. What more could you ask for.

I was once a student at Priceville. I graduated from there 2 years ago and this May my younger brother will graduate. He is an intelligent young man. I was part of the first graduating class in over 20 years. It was an honor of mine to graduate from there and bring back the traditions. That is what high school is about. The main education that really matters is your college education in my opinion. That is what decides what type of job you get. And throughout my years at Priceville High School. That was what they prepared you for. On my way to and through college my goal is to be a teacher and to return to Priceville High School. Edward L Mullin USMC

I am disappointed in that the school doesn't seem to want to involve the parents in anything and the lack of help for students who fall between the cracks is all but non-exsistant. I would rather the school spend money on teaching rather than having trees cut waterfalls installed and Christmas lights hanging from the eves. We need help and fast. But I will say that no matter what the whole town is behind our kids in sports and extracurricular activities. Too bad there isn't more to the academic part of learning.

As a parent of a Senior and a Freshman I would say that Priceville has been a great school for my kids. True Priceville doesn't offer some of the classes of a large school yet. The school system is adding classes and opportunities every year but they do offer a great deal. The Sciences Math and other basics are there. The schools robotics team has placed in the top 3 every year that we have had a high school. Our cheerleaders are national Champions our varsity boys have made the Final four in basketball. Our football team has made constant improvements (6-4 this year). Our marching band has grown and is great! The community is always behind our school and ready to help. Priceville is a great place to live.

My daughter attends Priceville Middle School. Priceville School is the most unprepared unorganized and unaccommodating school system I have ever encountered. During registration I was either uninformed or misinformed.

As a student at Priceville I have had the joy of seeing many things come to pass. I have been at Priceville since Kindergarten and therefore I cannot say that the education is 'better' than other schools but I can safely say that the environment is better. Priceville is not a large school so the students have ample opportunities for one on one help. Our sports programs and clubs are some of the best in our area and region. Our SAT Graduation Exam and Writing Assesment scores have been at teh top in our community for 3 years now and that's the longest we've been at it. Priceville is an incredible school and it's a great place to send your children!

You cannot find another school with more parent involvement and support. I love Priceville and am very glad that 3 of my kids have the opportunity to attend there.

Well I'm sure not a parent but I'm a student at Priceville High School. At this moment we are from 6th to 12th grade. We are getting some of the best teachers from all around and the scores on the grad exam and the SATs are one of the highest in Morgan County. True the high school doesn't offer that much to the 2005 Seniors(me) it being a new/small school but the growing population in Priceville and the word going around about Priceville being the next great thing will bring better opportunities for the next graduating classes at Priceville. It's not the best in the world but its strong academics and athletics are making it a popular place to be.

Priceville would be a better school if the teacher's would work more with the students that aren't advanced as the other students. I think too many fall between the cracks.

This school has been wonderful for my middle school son ---- the kids are great the staff is wonderful the work is challenging and he has a true sense of belonging. The entire community is involved with the school and it makes a word of difference in the quality of the program. I had the choice of many possibilities in my area and have not been disappointed in our decision to come to Priceville. I have no hesitancy to bring my other two kids as they are middle schoolers.

This is a great school to bring kids up in. My kids and grandkids are comeing up through this school system now. It's a great school and the communitee has a strong connection to it.

Although the information says that Priceville is middle school it is adding grades every year and by the school year 2004/2005 will have a senior class. It is an excellent school that is trying to d everything it can for the students and the area. As a small school they aren't able to offer a large number of class room options but they are doing a great job with the basics and I feel confident they will continue to improve every year.
