LB is a great school in a very nice neighborhood. I love how the children know everyone and act like they own the place! Their experiences outside school contribute positively to the school environment and many parents are highly accomplished and actively involved with the school. The large majority of teachers and staff are warm and dedicated and there are more exceptionally good teachers than not so great ones. In my opinion the principal does a great job. She has encouraged and supported curricular innovations in math and spelling and she listens well. The playground should be better.

The school has a great student body because many are children of scholars researchers and professors but the curriculum is not exceptional. There are decent specials but some mediocre teachers. One of the main office personnel is unfriendly with children and parents. No after school enrichment programs.

Dedicated staff that really balance nurturing and educating the children. The school has very involved local families that are also wonderful to know.

Littlebrook is a wonderful school and we are very sorry to be moving away. My son started in K and is finishing 5th this year so six years here while my daughter started in K and is finishing 2nd this year so three years here. Some of the teachers have been better than others but overall it's a fantastic educational experience with an excellent administration. The music and arts programs are particularly strong (both choral and instrumental music are offered). There are also great clubs such as chess club. The Littlebrook neighborhood is great too -- many children walk or bike to school and the after-school playground culture is a great way to meet other families.

What a fantastic school. My son started in the middle of the year... his teacher was great in bringing him up to speed on his overall academic work. We came from a school district that claimed to be "blue ribbon" but yet my son could not keep up with the work at PRS... while he was above average in his previous "award winning" school! Thankfully his 4th grade teacher was patient and spent a lot of time with him and he is now on the right track and ready for 5th grade. Administration is polite and wonderful parents are very involved... feels like one large happy family. Love this school!!!

I love this school. All three of my children attend Littlebrook. Littlebrook is like a storybook school. The teachers are warm and caring. No matter who you are there is a place for you here. Amazing diversity and the kids are excited about their differences. Best principal in town. She knew the names of my two youngest before they evn attended. My kids have the had the best elementary school experience possible.

Littlebrook's theme is 'Peace' and that about says it all. There is no way to say enough about the teachers. My children have been through K-2 there and each year things seem to get better and better. All the teachers have been supportive and nurturing especially to my daughter who has a hard time with change and new people. My son had speech therapy in Kindergarten and Reading Recovery in first grade and this was accomplished without labeling him whatsoever - he thought it was a special treat! He now reads above grade level for first grade. The advice and assistance I've gotten from the teachers has been invaluable to me as a parent. Although all the teachers we've encountered have been great Miss Mosca Mrs. Peretzman and Miss Ryan will live forever in our hearts. -) The kindergarten team is particularly outstanding.
