After exiting the USAF in 1991, I began my real estate and construction career, starting out swinging a hammer on a construction crew. Eventually, I went out on my own, and since that time, have built or remodeled hundreds of homes, and have completed thousands of home repairs and improvement jobs. I also co-partnered in a real estate investment company, finding, negotiating, and improving distressed properties for resale. More Less
In 2001, I received my formal training in real estate inspections and acquired 10 professional certifications including building, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical code inspector, 3 stucco and 2 mold certifications, as well as home inspector certification. I have worked as a court approved Dryvit class action inspector, and have inspected hundreds of stucco homes across Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina. I also have extensive commercial inspection experience, mainly apartment buildings and small office structures.
In 2003, I sold my inspection business in Athens and moved back to Valdosta to attend VSU (Business). During this time, I started another inspection business, and still enjoy the contacts I made during that time.
Although I reside in Athens, I still travel and work in the Valdosta area whenever my services are needed, particularly with Stucco, EIFS, and/or Mold, as well as difficult or problem properties.
