After 30 years of building, giving advice and explaining building techniques to my friends and co-workers, which was very gratifying for me, I decided to expand out and help others in their home search and thus became a home inspector.  As a member of ASHI - American Society of Home Inspectors the nation's oldest and most renowned Home Inspector organization, I adhere to the strictest standards of practice in the industry.  Standards of Practice that ASHI members adhere to, exceed many states standards of practice.  This assures our clients the most thorough home inspection available and reflects well on our referring agents, showing that they care about their clients.  4U Home, Inc also provides certified Radon testing , Air Quality audits and Mold evaluation and testing.  Other Certifications include the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (Nachi),  Maryland Association of Home Inspectors, being honored by being elected to the Executive Board by my peers as the Vice President and Education Director, IAC2 Mold Certified, and Certi Radon Certified.

A 4U Home Inspection is time based and calculated by square footage and number of systems checked.  We believe is the fairest way to assess our fees and you will find us very competitive for a quality inspection.

How Can We Guarantee Our Inspections?
  • It's easy.  We first start with education.  Our inspectors have building experience, attended some of the foremost inspection schools in the country and are required to attend Continuing Education Classes throughout the year.  So whether you are interested in a vintage house or the latest in construction we know what to look for.
  • We don't rush.  We never do more than two Baltimore - Washington Metro home inspections per day.  This allows us time to do a thorough inspection of your new home.
  • You don't want a cheap inspection.  A cheap inspection may be the most expensive thing you you'll ever buy, it may cost you thousands of dollars down the road because of missed or overlooked defects.  Cheap inspectors often know less and do less, which is one reason why they're cheap.
