James is very knowledgeable about real estate. He always answer our questions patiently. Also he is also very responsive. He almost never fail to answer a phone call or reply an email. When the seller could not reach agreements with some of our conditions, James stepped out and helped both sides settle the deal. Best experience with real estate agent that we have ever had!

James was wonderful !!! He went above and beyond helping my family find our perfect home ! He is now a friend of the family ! We are very blessed to of found him! He helped find our perfect neighborhood , school , and town ! He was very helpful and not only taught us how to purchase a home but how to really see the bigger picture when buying a home. Buying a home is a wonderful investment he made sure every step of the way that we understood just what was happening . We love him !!

James Callas is the BEST, without a doubt. I was a first time home buyer and very nervous about the process. We finally found a cottage-style house that I LOVED, and James went to work so thoroughly and attentively that I was truly overwhelmed. Due to uncanny circumstances, however, I was unable to buy my dream house. due to no fault of James or myself. Here is what happened. I want you to know this because I believe it shows just what a good person James Callas is! After much research, discussion, prayer, and finally courage, I made the offer on the house. Strangely, when the buyer received my reasonable offer, instead of countering my offer, he actually went up on the original price (and it was way beyond what I could afford). James and I were astounded and disappointed, but it turned out for the best. Shortly after the bad news about my dream house, my father died and instead of buying a home of my own, I had to move in with my mother because she is handicapped and needs my help now. My dream of owning a little cottage of my own will have to be put "on hold." What is important about this story is that James completely understood my situation. Even after he knew that I could not buy a house at this time, he continued to call and encourage me and my mother during our time of grief. In effect, James did all that work for me and did not get the benefit of his percentage of selling the house. Yet, he continued to call and check on us and support us through our grief about my father. That's James Callas! His kindness and understanding nature go way beyond "strictly business." He really cares about people. . James and I had worked closely on the house I had chosen. Obviously the buyer really didn't want to sell the little house. At the time I was very disappointed because James had found me the perfect house, but what I did not realize is that my father would die shortly after this and if I had bought the house I would have been in a difficult situation because I needed to move in permanently with my mother. With God looking out for me and James as my realtor, all things worked out well. James is a dedicated agent who puts the buyer's needs first. It is extremely important to him that the buyer is always informed, updated, and comfortable with the transactions at hand. James is also a wonderful teacher. Because I knew relatively nothing about buying a house ( I did not even understand the terms nor how to negotiate), James walked me through this whole process step by step, and I must admit it took a great deal of patience to teach me this complicated business! He was prompt and stayed in touch with me everyday during my search and continued this attentiveness and willingness to answer my questions thoroughly when we finally made an offer on a house. He guided me through all my fears and uncertainties about buying the house and never made me feel that my input was unimportant. He and his wife are a wonderful team. If you are looking for trustworthy, friendly, patient, understanding, and honest people, Call James Callas and his wife Ann. They are truly GOOD PEOPLE with your best interest at heart. I cannot say enough good things about James Callas and his wife! They are the kind of people with whom you want to be good friends! They are fun to be with and professional at all times. They made my experience a good one and if I ever have other real estate needs, I will certainly contact them again. I recommend James Callas and his company highly; in fact if there is a higher recommendation than that, I would put him at the very top. He is an extremely knowledgeable real estate agent. He did extensive research about the properties I was interested in, and he directed me to honest people who could answer my questions if he could not answer them. I trust him completely. We live near Houston and are looking to moving near family close to Beaumont. I saw a property online I was interested in and sent a request for more information. James promptly responded and our realtor/buyer relationsip quickly began. With us not living close James was most helpful in assisting us with gathering information and contact information we requested. We met James and viewed the property , which was in Bevil Oaks. We loved the property and began the process of making an offer etc. James helped us with finding options for financing , inspection and more. We found out that the property was in a flood zone, and since we had never been in a flood zone, James helped us with finding out the cost of flood insurance and also several contacts who were able to give us detailed information about Bevil Oaks, the flooding of Pine Island bayou's history. We also were able to speak with the individual who won the contract and cleaned out the bayou. After several intense days of gathering information, speaking to people, and most of all praying, we decided we were not willing to take the risk of buying the property and then loosing so much if there was another flood - which we found out it was more of a "when" it floods again, not "if". We regretfullly had to cancel our contract even though we loved the property. It was a very had decision to make and just as hard to have to tell James we could not go thru with it. James was very professional and understanding during the whole process. We do plan on continuing our search and will most definitelly seek James' assistance as our realtor.

Mr. Callas helped us sell my wife's home in Friendswood, TX while we were living in Ventura, CA. It was not an easy job, let me tell you. But Mr. Callas handled it with grace and patience. There were a lot of hoops to jump through even after when found a buyer for the home, and Mr. Callas expertly guided us through the process. It could have been a very frustrating experience, but Mr. Callas made us feel confident and comfortable. My wife and I both felt like we got a very good price for her home, and it was great knowing that we had such a knowledgeable agent on our side.
