Bought a home in 2013.
We highly recommend Alan Kent if you are looking for an excellent Realtor in the Lake Oconee area. He's been a resident and Realtor for many years, so he knows the lake and surrounding area very well. In addition, he was a very patient, thoughtful Realtor--it took us over 10 months to purchase our house and Alan supported us the entire way so that we could find the right house at the right time and at the right price. We found Alan to be extremely responsive, professional and helpful as well--he was always in touch with us by phoning, emailing, providing insights and research as well as updates on the homes that were available as well as the news in the community. Alan continues to help us today, long after closing as well. His continuing recommendations and referrals have proven invaluable. We feel so fortunate to have found Alan. You will too!

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 in Eatonton, GA.
My husband and I recently purchased a home down at the lake. Alan was highly recommended to us as a verr knowledge realtor of the area. Bought a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $75K in Eatonton, GA.
Alan was very helpful in taking the time to show us homes in the area when we decided to move to the Eatonton area. He was happy to spend as much time as we needed and make himself available to meet our needs. I would highly recommend Alan to anyone seeking to purchase a home.

Knows the Lake Country.. very detailed, responsive to emails and telephone calls, utilizes good marketing skills, continually re-educates himself on new marketing ideas ...like most real estate agents , he tends to let customers 'sell themselves' versus getting too aggressive in his interpersonal sales techniques

Sold a Single Family home in 2010 in Greensboro, GA.
What can I say about one of the long time top realtors in the Lake Oconee, Georgia area? Alan is "honest" and knows the market. I dealt with him in 1999 when we bought a house on Lake Oconee and then the following year when we sold our other house on the lake. He is not 'pushy' but aggressive enough to penetrate an extremely slow market. I have never known of him to say "what a buyer or seller wants to hear" which is important to me.
