I believe that when you find a job you love, you never work another day of your life.
I love my job. There's nothing more professionally satisfying than congratulating a new homeowner or homeseller on the successful close of their transaction.

In my career I have become very aware of the amount of paper resources consumed in the real estate industry -- everything is copied in triplicate, signed by another person then copied again -- in triplicate (!):
- 200 page disclosure packets may be printed 10-20 times...all of them but the final buyer's discarded.
- multiple copies of printed correspondence and instructions.
It's really sad that typical transactions use around 1,000 sheets of (mostly discarded) paper.

Being an avid tree-hugger, I find this unacceptable and therefore attempt to run my business with minimal impact. As many documents as possible are signed on a tablet PC and preserved in soft copy. My average per transaction is down to around 50 sheets...and when paper is unavoidable, it's 100% post-consumer recycled and/or sustainable forest certified.

Bought a home in 2014.

Aileen is very organized, forthright, and professional. Also just a wonderful human being.

After discussing with me what I was looking for, she was quickly able to distill my sort of vague parameters into a list of potential houses. She then organized viewings and set up a great day of house hunting. She would walk through with me and discuss the relative pros and cons of each room. She would use her previous construction experience and her interior decorating experience to analyze structural integrity, point out potential problem areas, assess what it would entail to fix things, what it would entail to make something lackluster look great, and finally would help me factor in all these things into my larger decision making process.

She is also very principled and ethical, something I value in a partnership.

Sold a home in 2014 in Castro City, Mountain View, CA 94040.

Used Aileen to sell my condominium, She is a superior real estate agent. She identified minor repairs and upgrades that I needed to get top dollar for the unit. She got the estimates and arranged for all the work, while I was travelling overseas. When I got back the unit sold for the highest price of any of the 2 bedroom 1 bath units in the complex. Whether you are buying or selling you won't find a better agent  More Less
