It is my firm belief that home ownership is one of the best ways for people to build a personal wealth foundation for themselves and their families. A passion for helping people achieve that dream is the driving force behind my business. Buying or selling your home is a very personal and emotional decision involving many different circumstances. A caring and compassionate, yet business savvy approach is what I bring to every transaction.

Specialization
I represent clients in the purchase and sale of single-family residences and income property in the Greater Washington metropolitan area. Through my experience, I have gained an excellent understanding of the process of selling a home, and I have acquired top-notch negotiating skills to help my clients get the best deal. I have up to date information on all transactions in this area and my experience with local communities enables me to address your questions and concerns (for example, school districts).

Personal
I am a native Washingtonian which gives me an extensive knowledge of the entire metropolitan area. I was born in the District and lived in Takoma Park during my early years. My family moved to the then sleepy town of Olney, Md in 1979. My only time outside of Maryland came during college. I obtained a Bachelors Degree from Gordon College in Wenham, MA. I happily returned to Maryland to marry my childhood sweetheart, Robert Scott, and ultimately settled in Laytonsville, a small village that is part of Gaithersburg, MD.

Prior to my Real Estate Career, I spent 10 years in the Finance Department at Herson’s Honda in Rockville, refining my skills in sales and negotiating. After taking a few years off to take care of three young children, I developed a passion for real estate investing. Little did I know that my true career call was born!
