Alex is a consumate professional, whose expertise is invaluable in attempting to obtain the loan I am interested in securing. His willingness to go the extra mile in terms of spending as much time as necessary to answer all my questions and imparting his considerable knowledge of the mortgage business is very refreshing. His responsiveness by phone as well as E-M is excellent. Thus far there have been a few minor unforseen issues that have arisen, but Alex's adaptability and knowledge is enabling to us proceed with the loan process. We are awaiting final approval to set the closing. I would not hesitate to recommend Alex to my family and friends.

Alex was great to work with -very smart, professional, knowledgeable, and customer oriented. He was extremely responsive and took the time to understand the specifics of our situation to make sure we got the best outcome. He gave us some good insight/perspective that helped in our decision to pull the trigger. Alex was very straightforward, one of first things I look for in the lenders that I work with. He set realistic expectations and having been involved in the purchase/refi of homes on a few occasions in the past, I've learned that this is the exception rather than the rule. We had a couple minor roadblocks but Alex experience and knowledge about the loan process allowed us to navigate around them relatively easily.

AAA sent a good faith estimate within 24hrs that was very competitive. The only reason I didn't choose AAA was due to the fact that my current lender offered me a deal I couldn't refuse.

I appreciated his prompt responses to my questions and his forthrightness.

Alex also provded me with some good financial advice.

Although I did not close with this lender, I would recommend him to anyone I know who is seeking
a new mortgage or refinance.

My experience with AAA Mortgage was frustrating and stressful.

In the beginning, Alex at AAA provided a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) outlining the rate, points, fees and closing costs. In order for him to be competitive with other offers I was considering, he agreed to remove a particular $575 fee, and I decided to refinance through him. Throughout the week, we watched the rates and when they reached a favorable level, I asked him to secure financing for me. The updated GFE that he provided showed the new rate, as well as the removed $575 "fee" but he increased the points by $575, negating his promise to remove $575 from the GFE. At this point my wife and I decided to proceed since we had gone pretty far in the process already. A few days later, I received another updated GFE, showing an increase of more than $650 in title and other fees. I'm not sure whether Alex low-balled the title estimates to win my business, or if he is just bad at making the estimates. Either way, my closing costs are now more than $1200 higher than what I can get through another lender. Alex told us this was common to change the GFE as he learned his true fees.

At this point, I reviewed the all documents I had signed and found no Broker's agreement, no lock agreement, and nothing regarding cancellation fees, so I decide to withdraw my loan application with AAA and go with another lender. The GFE actually states at the top that signing the GFE is not a loan commitment. As it turns out, Alex had made commitments to a lender to secure financing for me that were difficult for him to break. Over the week, he attempted to win back my business through various incentives and threats. It got to the point where he agreed to waive all his fees, pay my appraisal and credit me the $500 application fee that I paid the other lender. While this was a very generous offer, I was uncomfortable working with him and was satisfied with the service of the other lender and declined his offer.

The subject line of the next e-mail I received from Alex stated "Will take a legal action." He was threatening to sue me because I withdrew my application. While I envisioned his threat to be weak at best, I wasn't eager to spend time or money in court to find out and caved in to his intimidation.

I withdrew my application with the other lender (forfeiting my $500 application fee with them) and signed Alex's GFE outlining his best deal described above. As you might have predicted, come closing day the GFE that Alex provided the title agent contained $800 in additional fees not declared on the GFE, and the $500 application fee credit was no where to be seen. After many e-mails and a lot of hard work by the title agent, I was able to close according to the GFE I signed.

In the end, I'm satisfied with the rate and closing costs, although it was certainly not worth the stress and frustration of working with AAA. Alex says the deal he put together caused him to lose money, so I'm not sure it worked out well for anyone. This is my side of the story. Alex has the opportunity to respond to these ratings, so please be sure to read what he has to say.

In summary, there are plenty of good lenders out there. I would suggest you keep looking.

I found the lender to be long-winded and boring. He did not allow enough free expression on my part. So he really did not have a good idea of what my needs are.

Did talk to this gentleman for over an hour regarding his request and did explain in detail there is no loan program available to satisfy his request at this time because of the following factors. Credit score of 580, bankruptcy less than 2 years, buying investment property, want to put down 5%, total annual income of $35000 generating debit to income ratio of over 60%. I am very sorry you cannot buy the property you are not qualifying for and most important you cannot afford.

Alex was a true professional throughout the entire process. Alex will guide you through the entire process from application to closing. Did a great job communicating, always had a quick response time through phone and Email. Beat of all having Alex working with you provides you with another independent set eyes to review all of your paperwork. Due to Alex's diligence, everything fell into place and we closed on our house right on schedule.

Alex provided great advice through the entire process and helped secure a very competitive rate. I would highly recommend Alex to anyone who is looking for a knowledgeable hands-on mortgage professional.

I've closed 2 loans in the past with this lender and I can''t say enough about the service and education you can get from this gentleman. I was skeptical at first because of the one bad review but I contacted that reviewer about his experience and it turns out he was changing ISP or something and the email he referred to was in limbo for some time.

Again, great advice and he put emphasis on helping me decide what was best for me.
