Sold a home in 2014.

Absolute worst real estate transaction I have ever been involved with. Called and said he had a contract and I would need $1100 to bring to closing in 4 weeks. Then at week 3.5 he said he THOUGHT the amount was $1800. Then 3 days before closing, the attorneys office sent the closing statement and it said I would need $5400 to close. Then Mr Wilkinson says he will cut his commission and I should be grateful that he was willing to do that. So now I have already moved out at this point, completed a list of repairs which cost money, and Mr Wilkinson says I should be glad I only had to pay $3500. He also negotiated away 2 flat screen TV's and a very high end washer/dryer set. Had I not already moved all my personal belongings out, I wold have canned the deal there and made the buyer force me to sell. All in all I figure Mr Wilkinson's dishonesty cost me around $6000. Mr Wilkinson seems to not accept the fact that I have not one but 2 witnesses. When I called him out he suggested he gave me bad numbers because he negotiated the deal while shopping in the grocery store. He also suggested that I gave him inaccurate numbers on the payoff which is totally false. I gave him the amount and missed it $50 to his favor. Next I plan to reach out to top level management at Keller Williams to make sure they know about Mr Wilkinson's unethical behavior. And just to put icing on the cake, the buyer was someone I had shown the property prior to listing the property with Alex Wilkinson and Keller Williams. I informed Mr Wilkinson that I had already shown the property to a potential buyer and should they buy the property, I would exclude Mr Wilkinson from the transaction. I did not find out until 2 weeks after the contract was signed, the the buyer was the person shown the property prior to Keller Williams listing. When I was told that I would only need $1100 to close and that Mr Wilkinson would get a commission, I agreed only to learn later that Mr Wilkinson had lied about the selling cost to me.  More Less

This review is completely false, and misleading. 1. Client/seller is required to approve and sign off on any/all offers/agreements. Offers were presented and communicated in a clear manor. 2. Buyer requested that the TV's and washer/dryer remain, seller agreed. 3. Seller did not provide me with any names of who he claims to have shown the property to prior to my company listing it, and again, the names of the buyers are clearly written on the offer that he agreed to. This person has threatened to write negative reviews about me if I don't pay him $2000. Please read my other reviews for a true representation of my service and past client experiences.

Bought a home in 2014.

My husband and I have been working with Alex for a few years as we started dabbling in the housing market. Throughout that time we kind of left and came back and throughout the entire process Alex was there to help us make the decisions that were right for us. He was and continues to be (even after the purchase of our amazing new home!) ready and willing to help us in any way that he can. No matter what time of day he was ready to show us properties and answer any questions we had. He is a master negotiator and as fabulous as he is as a realtor, he is just an all around great guy! We felt so comfortable and really felt that at the end of the process we had a friend in him. We would 150% recommend him to anybody looking to buy or sell- his knowledge of the area is unprecedented! We actually had a friend looking to make a purchase, sent him to Alex, and they are already under contract!! We do not have enough great things to say about Alex but we will absolutely use him for when we sell our home and purchase another one down the road! I promise you will be so happy that you have him on your side!!!!  More Less

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 in Doraville, GA.

Alex did an awesome job negotiating with the selling agent. We had a lot of concerns about the house after the Atlanta ice storm where the selling agent did an unreasonable minimal work in repairs. He met us at the house early morning with the agent and hammered out what needed to be done and never backed down in order to get us our dream home. A great agent and highly recommended!  More Less
