Hello, my name is Alicia Gibson and I am an agent with McLeRoy Realty Associates, Inc www.mcleroyrealty.com. Our area is considered South Metro Atlanta and I have handled transactions in the following counties: Butts, Coweta, Fayette, Henry, Lamar, Jasper, Meriwether, Pike, Spalding and Upson. I tell my clients that I can sell anywhere in the state of Georgia...however if we are going to the mountains or the ocean to please give me at least a day notice.... :-)My introduction to the real estate world was doing the accounting for a local company as an evening part time job. While working there my job description began to take on more responsibiities but since I was not a "licensed agent" I was limited on what I could do or not do. I obtained my license in July 1999 however I still worked at a full time job and the evening part time job. I tried to balance this in the beginning and being a new agent it was easy. Real estate started booming, dashing out to show property during my lunch hour/leaving immediately at 5:00 p.m. to go show in the evening, scheduling weekends (not enough hours during the day) all started to become more difficult. I had to make a decision. I went to work as an agent full time in November 2004. During this time, my broker encouraged me to pursue my ABR (Accredited Buyer Representation) designation which is by the Real Estate BUYER'S AGENT Council, Inc. (REBAC) of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS (NAR). I received my designation on March 14, 2007.I love my profession...I can schedule my hours to accomodate clients, I can view all kinds of homes, meet some of the nicest people (most of the time) and get to negotiate on my client's behalf. Each transaction is different so no day is ever the same. My goal in a transaction, whether I represent the Buyer or the Seller, is to make it as stress free as possible and to get to the closing table!

My hobbies are FISHING, reading and spending time with my family. I love the water and could be around it 24/7....ocean, lake, river as long as it is...............W-A-T-E-R. I would also love to travel one day to Hawaii and Spain.
