Add personality to your profile! Tell the community about yourself, your home, and your profession.

As a Real Estate Consultant, Alina is dedicated to helping buyers and sellers in San Francisco and throughout the Bay Area.

She enjoys representing a first time home buyer as much as she enjoys representing a seasoned investor or a luxury property seller or buyer.

Alina is a San Francisco home owner herself and served as her building's HOA Board President for the past 2 years.
She is happy and proud to report that in this capacity she initiated and led the construction defects litigation against the developer, a long and complicate process that successfully settled this year.

When it comes to condo related issues, Alina has an experience based point of view about all aspects of condo owning and and operating and overall HOA financial health.

Living in Potrero Hill/Dogpatch, she is taking an interest in the neighborhood's future development and actively participating in the community happenings.

Alina brings extensive business, marketing, public relations, journalism and economic research experience to her real estate practice. As a student, she discovered a passion for journalism and broadcasting and went on to coordinate the launching of a national newspaper in post-Communist Romania. She wrote hundreds of syndicated articles, covering economical and political issues. Her passion for global affairs eventually translated into a PhD in Economics. Prior to her Real Estate career, Alina held positions of responsibility for economic development organizations, multinational corporations and nonprofits. She also successfully established and managed a San Francisco based import business for home decoration.

Alina considers herself an international citizen, which is a reflection of the city she proudly represents. It is nothing more rewarding for her than sharing the complex San Francisco real estate process with buyers and sellers from all over the world and all over the country. Speaking of this, Alina went through rigorous education and obtain the CIPS title( Certified International Property Specialist). That involved studying different real estate markets in countries from Europe, Asia and Latina America, taxation issue and real estate practices and investment/buying practices in those markets. She is also proud member of the prestigious FIABCI- The International Real Estate Federation.

************************************************************************
Being a Realtor is also a local business. Doing business in your community means getting to know and supporting other local enterprises. Alina constantly discovers new restaurants, home grown artists, music and concert venues, parks and simple ways to enjoy what San Francisco has to offer.
She is thoroughly knowledgeable about the nuances of different neighborhoods and always aware of changing trends, recognizing where there is new potential.

***********************************************************************
Local and global needs of humanity are some of Alina's deepest concerns. She worked in Public Relations for Holt International Children's Services, an international organization based in Oregon and she continues to support their activities in the Bay Area, as a volunteer and donor. Locally, she supports organizations such as EARN, Meals on Wheels and San Francisco Food Bank.

Arts and academic life always bring enriching and enlightening experiences for Alina. She is a member of SF Jazz, San Francisco Film Society, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, Commonwealth Club and California Alumni Association (CAA).

Ratings & Reviews

We absolutely loved working with Alina! We were completely set on purchasing a condo at The Beacon and Alina helped us do just that. Condos sell QUICK here and Alina was always at the top of her game making sure we saw any condo that went up ASAP here that was in line with what we were looking for. Alina is extremely knowledgeable and very honest (which we greatly appreciated!). Alina cares for her clients even post sale. Alina has checked in on us multiple times after the deal closed and even offered to help us during renovation! Amazing woman to work with and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for an agent!

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $975K in Potrero Hill, San Francisco, CA.

We weren't first-time home buyers -- but even we found the prospect of buying in today's San Francisco real estate market really daunting. Alina in hindsight made it all seem easy -- she came to understand our needs and constraints really quickly. She both found properties that might potentially fit both and gave us good advice about pros and cons. Both her range of skills and connections within the local real estate community stood her and us in good stead in locating and closing on a home. And she stays in touch with us to make sure things are going smoothly. We first encountered Alina in early October thinking that our buying a home in the city was a long shot. We closed the deal on the home we're set to occupy by mid-December. What else can one say?  More Less
