My quote of 3.375% with 1 point had the lowest fees out of the five lenders that quoted that specific rate. You mention "back end plus a point upfront"; sounds like another lender trying to give me a bad rating.

My husband and I were first time home buyers. Allen made the process so pain free for us. He was *very* easy to get ahold of, stayed on top of things as far as gathering needed documentation and our closing was quick and easy. There were no surprises. We even went through some issues with our builders, and had to change the loan to a completely different home 7 months after we first applied for the loan with less than 3 weeks to get the appraisals and new application processed. We couldn't have been happier with our choice of lender (not to mention our rates were fabulous!)

Allen was incredibly fast and responsive. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great Mortgage rate as well as excellent customer service. I opted to go with a Lender that was closer to home and a friend of the family, otherwise it would've been Allen.

We were first time home buyers looking for a VA loan and Allen helped us with the purchase of our home.
At first we was reluctant to use an out of state bank, but it turned out for the better. Allen gave us better rates than any of our local banks. He was straight forward and answered all of our questions. He was knowledgeable about VA loans and did not mislead us.
Other banks we have contacted claimed that they could get us a VA loan when in fact they knew very little about them. We are glad that we chose Allen.

Although I was initially nervous about refinancing online with a out-of-state bank I'd never heard of, Allen was very responsive to my questions. I was able to reach him easily (and often) by phone -- more easily, in fact, than the various local lenders I've dealt with in the past. The bank's underwriting department was backlogged with a flood of applications due to the extremely low rates, so Allen made sure my lock date was extended a couple of times. I could not have gotten a lower rate or had a smoother experience elsewhere, and I recommend Allen without reservation.

Allen was a pleasure to work with. He provided excellent service and was very quick to respond to all emails and phone calls. There were no surprises at closing. All fees were just as he defined them. His service and communication surpassed all of the local brokers that I have worked with in the past. I highly recommend Allen for your financing requirements.
