Sold a Single Family home in 2011 in Jacksonville, NC.

Amanda was a consumate professional throughout the entire process of marketing, listing, and eventually getting our house sold in a very bad market. Even though it was a short sale, she was very aggressive with the bank and buyers agent in getting what we deserved and needed. Amanda is a former Army Veteran that has a can do attitude and fights for her clients throughout the entire process!

Sold a home in 2012.

Amanda is wonderful. We were put in a difficult situation and needed to leave the area quickly and Amanda went above and beyond to make sure things were done in the right and honest way. She is responsible and timely regarding paperwork and such things.

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $150K in Chinquapin, NC.

I have been through several realtors, We had one, then she moved away, so I was referred to another one that said I will call you back when the weather clears up (it was raining, big deal) and have yet to hear from her, then we found another and well again she didn't want to show us homes, and then there is Amanda, that has met us in the rain, on Sunday's, answer's calls and questions whenever no matter the time. Although we have not found our home yet, I am sure she will be right by our sides until we do.

Update: We found a home in September 2014 and honestly we couldn't have made it through the process without her. I had a million questions and she was always there with an answer. Her negotiating skills are great, she gave us lots of advice and I must say we took it and got a great deal on our property. I can now say that I also made an amazing friend during this process as well, and will recommend her to anyone and everyone that is looking for a home.

Thank you Amanda for all of your dedication, and hard work.

Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $125K in Jacksonville, NC.

I was really excited to work with Amanda. When Amanda met with us for the initial listing appointment she came fully prepared and came across as very professional. She made me feel comfortable with leaving her to look after our house when we moved across the country while we waited for the home to sell. Fortunately, we received an offer exceptionally fast. Unfortunately, that's as far as my positive experience went. There were several issues we had between receiving a signed contract and closing. However, the biggest issue came after closing when I found out that a week prior to closing she had left the company my home was listed with and did not have the professional courtesy to notify me. She contacted me only once after closing, but before recording, to tell me I was given the wrong amount of money to settle the closing and that I would have to send additional money. If that was not bad enough a few days later I was contacted by her (former) office to tell me that I had actually been over charged! A couple days after that I was contacted again only to be told I had been over charged even further. Later when I reviewed the settlement paperwork I found where I was over charged a THIRD time. As my agent, who was given power of attorney, she was responsible for reviewing the HUD and making sure we were charged fairly, something she clearly did not do, resulting in me paying overages of $1400.

I am really disappointed by everything that I have experienced. The first thing an agent should do at a closing is review the HUD to make sure their client is being charged and credited correctly. Had this been done in my case the very glaring errors would have been caught and I wouldn't have overpaid and now been forced to wait on refund checks.

Hi Amanda! Thanks for your review. I'm very sorry you were unsatisfied. However, we were under contract with a full price offer within two weeks of it being listed. And I am sorry for the HUD. That issue was an internal flaw with the admin in the office, which has been resolved. When I called to explain the error, I had to explain it on your voicemail, unfortunately. And you were promptly refunded the overage.

Bought a home in 2013 in Half Moon, Jacksonville, NC 28540.

She helped us a lot. By finding houses to look at that were exactly what we needed and had some of our wants and were in good neighborhoods. Helped us find a mortgage company and insurance quotes along with inspectors and other maintenance professionals. Completely recommend Amanda(:

Amanda was great! She was very accommodating to our crazy schedule, and fun to work with. She was able to answer almost all of the questions we could have possibly come up with, and continues to help me find information even after closing.
