Amy Ladd is a true professional in every way. Our vacation/retirement home search started from 1300 miles away and Amy worked with us for two months by phone and email before we were able to meet her in person. We were not familiar with the Orlando metro area and we put a lot of trust in Amy to help us find a new home in an area that we would be happy to vacation and one day live in. Once we were able to work with Amy in person, and under a tight time frame, we were very impressed with her professionalism and expertise of the areas we were looking in.

Amy’s ability to pick up on verbal and non verbal cues is outstanding. Amy asked many questions about every house we looked at in detail regarding what we liked and what we did not like about it. She was then able to modify the search parameters based on our initial wish list, and implement the information that she obtained from us during our search to come up with a better defined search parameter. By the end of our first day of house hunting, and with Amy’s help, we had a better idea of the areas we wanted to look in, the type of neighborhood we wanted, what style of home and the amenities we were looking for.

On our second day of house hunting Amy took a chance and showed us a house that she thought may meet all of our wants and needs based on the information she acquired the day before. Amy hit the nail on the head and got everything right. However, the price was out of our range. Amy worked with us on coming up with an amount that we were comfortable with and worked with us to put in an offer on the house. After two week of negotiations Amy delivered and negotiated the price down to our initial offer. However it was not meant to be and the deal fell through.

It was by chance that while on line, after our second tip to Florida, we saw a home that had just came on the market the day before. It seemed too good to be true. It had everything we were looking for and the price was within our budget. However, it was in an area that we had not previously looked in but knew Amy was very familiar with. Amy went to see the house the next day and told us it had everything and more of what we were looking for in a home and assured us that we would love the location.

We knew we could trust Amy’s judgment in knowing what we were looking for in a home, and we made an offer on the house with provisions to see the house at a future date. On our third trip to Florida, we saw the house for the first time. Any did it again! Amy’s ability to listen helped her deliver the perfect home.

We can not say enough about Amy. Amy’s professionalism and expertise in the Orlando real-estate market gave us the confidence to trust Amy judgment to find us a home sight unseen. And Amy delivered. We will recommend Amy to everyone we meet who is looking for a realtor.

We looked over a year for the perfect house before we found it. Amy never once got impatient with us. She knows the downtown area really well and only showed us properties she knew we would be interested in. She never wasted our time by showing us properties outside the small area we liked. she is quick and efficient, no fluff and that was just what we wanted in a realtor. She had contacts that helped us with our mortgage and once we found the house we wanted, everything was seamless. She also led us in the right direction as far as what to offer on the home. We love our new house and never thought we would be in the location we love for the price in a move in ready home.
