I love staging properties.

I adore carrying furniture into a vacant house and bringing it to life.

I enjoy simplifying and arranging the furnishings in an occupied house so the sellers can still be comfortable, but buyers can easily imagine their lives there.

I glow when I walk through a house with DIY sellers - discussing what needs to change and why the change will improve the marketing of their property.

I cannot describe the satisfaction I feel when I stand at the door to a newly staged room for the final review.  Does the furniture welcome and invite visitors into the room?  Check.  The the tschotkes guide the eye to the major architectural features?  Check.  That weird little alcove that used to make no sense, is it now a highlight to the whole room?  Check.   

I really cannot describe my joy when I get the call to come remove my rental furnishings from a house I staged because the house is under contract.  The best, the very best way this happens is so fast I never see the second month's rental fee.
