Showed home in 2010.

Andy Smith would be a major asset for any home buyer or investor looking for an investment property. Because I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for, Andy showed me a wide assortment of properties and, most valuable of all, was able to articulate the pros and cons of each. Every property has good and bad aspects and it's up to the homebuyer to decide which are must-have's and which things can be lived with. But I found that Andy's professional opinion on both the liveablity and the financial upside or downside of a property really put things in perspective.

With Condos, TICs, the Ellis Act, Rent Board regulations, etc., the San Francisco market can be a bit confusing if not downright intimidating, and you really want someone on your side who understands the complexities of each scenario. Andy has so much experience and know-how, I greatly valued his opinion, and I solicit his input on properties for sale even to this day.

Andy is also extremely patient and pleasant to spend time with -- something you are going to do with your realtor. He never pressured me or made me feel like an annoyance to him, despite all the time he dedicated to my search! He was very responsive to my emails and calls, and he was always encouraging -- yet honest -- in his assessment of the market and available properties. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a home or an investment property. I think he'd also be a particularly good choice for anyone who was looking to purchase a multi-unit building, with plans to live in a unit themselves. His unique background makes him well-versed in in this type of transaction.

Bought a Multiple Occupancy home in 2010 in Central Richmond, San Francisco, CA.

Andrew is a great agent. Definitely had our best interest at the forefront and walked us through the process. He knows how to find a good deal and negotiated hard for us. He really knows San Francisco.
