07/17/2011 - Alisa BruflatSold a Single Family home in 2011 in Eagle Lake, MN.
My husband and I had our house on the market for 6 months with a realty company that was referred to us. We rarely had any house showings nor did we get "staging" advice and feedback from our showings. After an offer fell through, we decided to switch companies and chose Angie VanEman with AmericanWay Realty. Within 1 week of our house being on the market, we got an offer. Although, we turned that offer down, we did however, get another offer and SOLD our house after being on the market for 3 weeks. Impeccable is the best way to describe our experience while working with Angie throughout this process! Without question, we would highly recommend Angie VanEman with AmericanWay Realty.…MoreLess

05/06/2011 - jcrum316Bought a Single Family home in 2011 in Mankato, MN.
After working with several agents and brokers in Mankato my wife and I became frustrated with the lack of skill and service we found. Out of desperation we searched once more and thankfully found Angie.
She is without a doubt the best agent we have found in Mankato and would encourage everyone to work with her exclusively when dealing in real estate.…MoreLess

Thanks, James. You were awesome to work with. Can't wait for the next deal.
Our house languished on the market for 4 years until it was listed with Angie VanEman in June of 2012. In August we were presented with and signed a contingent purchase agreement. Two more purchase agreements, each with better terms, were negotiated and signed. Our house closed six months after listing with Angie within +96% of asking. Angie created an impressive colored brochure, placed many ads, held open houses events, and was always available to meet with us to answer questions, explain terms, and make counter offers.
Angie has extensive knowledge of the area and market conditions. If your house is not listed with Angie Van Eman, it will be on the market longer and your offers will not be as attractive.…MoreLess

Real estate has always been a family affair. I have been around the real estate industry all of my life. My father, Russ VanEman, worked as a REALTOR and owned a construction company that developed and built houses in the Mankato area for nearly 30 years. My mother, Karla VanEman, has been a licensed REALTOR for over 30 years and has been the top REALTOR in Mankato for several years. She is the Broker/Owner for American Way Realty. My brother, Michael VanEman, is a licensed REALTOR and works on rehabbing houses on the side. For as long as I can remember I have been around real estate transactions. From developing, building, rehabbing, buying and selling, I have had almost 20 years of training and mentoring. In 2005, I become a licensed REALTOR while attending college at Minnesota State University, Mankato. I graduated in 2007 with a degree in Mass Communications with and emphasis in Public Relations. There I learned valuable techniques in marketing and promotion of products, which is very helpful in translating over to the real estate industry. In the summer of 2008, I moved to New York City and worked as a licensed sale associate focusing on rentals along with sales and acquisition for a high-end luxury real estate firm in the Upper West Side. During my 14 months of being in the NYC real estate industry I was consecutively among the top 3 rental agents at the company. After 4 months I was featured in Brokers Weekly, a Manhattan Real Estate publication, for my innovative marketing skills through the use of social networks. After 9 months of focusing primarily on rentals I turned my focus to working with buyers and sellers. During that time I sold luxury condos in DUMBO, Brooklyn, and assisted buyers in purchase. In the fall of 2009, I returned to Minnesota to focus on the Mankato real estate full time. I specialize in buyer representation and hold an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation. I also am the Relocation Director for American Way Realty working with buyers coming from out of state to Mankato. Most recently I completed the Short Sales and Foreclosure Certification Program (SFR) and earned a SFR designation. In today's tough market, the real estate industry has turned into a "Beauty Contest and a Price War". With the right representation and marketing, homes need to stand apart from the competition along with its REALTOR. I am happy to help with your real estate questions and needs. I look forward to helping you make the American dream a reality. So when you decide that you'd like to buy or sell a home in the Mankato area, please contact me. (507) 381-8961 or Angie@MankatoRealEstate.comABOUT ME PERSONALLY: I am a life long resident of Mankato (aside from my short time in NYC). I am the proud momma of two cats, Charlette and Jack, and a French Bulldog, Brooklyn, whom all were rescued. I am also a very proud girlfriend of a soldier in the US Army National Guard. When I am not selling real estate, I really enjoy reading, going to Vikings games, going to movies, being with my family and friends or just hanging out at home with my boyfriend and "babies"!
