It is legal to get concessions or price reductions for repairs needed. However, it was mentioned previously that the lender may require the repair. If the roof is leaking, causing stains on the inside, the lender if FHA would definitely want the repairs to be made and reinspected to be sure they were done. If it's not leaking-but missing shingles- the lender would require the missing shingles replaced. If it's just the home inspection company that is saying the roof may leak or could be leaking-that's totally different. Then you can ask for a reduction, etc.

It's not as easy as it would seem. You need to market your property to the masses-to generate the most traffic you can. There are FREE sites that you can post it on, and many more you can pay to have it added to. Then the fun really begins. It takes more than just a sign in your lawn to sell your home. Are you ready to prequalify every buyer before they see your home? And then of course, assuming they want to make an offer-who is writing the offer? Who is handling the closing? Are you represented by an attorney?
