Knowing that limitation, I specialize in residential homes in the Aptos area and nearby surrounding areas. I also have a good knowledge of the entire Monterey Bay area, but I also know my limitations, and when to refer you to someone who will know other areas better than I do. I have over 10 years experience in the title and escrow business, so I not only know the home buying and selling process, I know what goes on through the entire transaction, even the little details about how your ownership changes occur at the county recording department. For many REALTORS, the escrow process is something they hand off to, but for me, it's something I know and follow all the way through the process.
I am also a licensed California Notary Public. That means that I have taken the extra time to learn and get licensed to notarized signatures as an officer of the state. This is usually big help to my clients for convienience, both during the transaction, and afterwards for other needs.
