Closed refinance loan.
Outstanding company to refinance with. I shopped around for rates and found Aurora to be not only the lowest rates, but also the fastest closing time (before 30 days for me). Other companies told me they could not say that they could even have it done within 60 days:( I recommend Aurora Financial.

I got my home in California refinanced with Aurora Financial in April 2013. I got the exact low rate they had advertised on Zillow and their own website – there were no hidden fees etc. I started my loan process on 4/3 and was in a rush to close by 4/18 since I was going out of country on 4/19. And, they closed the loan in little over two weeks! There were a few complexities in my application due to my immigration status, but Stan Mitchell (Sr. Mortgage Consultant) and Maria Bouhou (Loan Processor) worked extra hard to make sure my loan was closed in time. Both Stan and Maria were easy to work with, extremely accessible and very meticulous and diligent. I couldn’t be happier with Aurora Financial – they have my highest recommendation.

I've done several refinances over the years. My recent refinance with Janet Johnson at Aurora Financial was a very pleasant experience. She was extremely responsive, knowledgeable and delivered on all facets of the refinance process.

I was very apprehensive working with an institution outside of the big banks. But as I did my research it became apparent that there were a lot of reputable companies such as Aurora Financial that provide a great service. As a consumer you need to educate yourself first and clearly understand what you are shopping for and the options available. This will make your experience more positive and the results will meet your expectations. Our loan officer Stanley Schurtz was candid, thorough and followed up when needed. As a result we have the lowest 15 year refi interest rate. Thanks Aurora Financial!

Dave Gravely and his support staff provided excellent service throughout the entire process. Dave was extremely professional, prompt, and even helped secure a lower rate at the last minute when rates dropped. As long as you are able to gather your documents quickly, the process is easy, smooth and my loan closed in under a month. I rarely recommend companies (or people) but will be happy to pass on my approval of Dave and Aurora to others.

I did my homework not only on rates, but also on reputation. After all of the mortgage company issues in the past few years, it was important to me that I was dealing with someone reputable and not "shady." I settled on Aurora due to its rates, fees, and reputation. They lived up to their reputation and truly are amazing at how quickly they can get you through the process. Makes you wonder what everyone else is doing when they take so long. Stan and Karen were very knowledgeable and helpful when needed. I would definitely recommend Aurora to anyone and will use them again in the future.

I tried 2 other mortgage companies before Aurora and I walked away from those after few weeks into the process. Ameri Save was one of them and I would suggest everyone to stay away from Amerisave. I canceled the whole thing after paying for credit report and appraisal. They were that bad. I almost decided not to refi anymore, but a friend of mine suggested Aurora. I have to tell you, I was little skeptical before making that first phone call, but I am glad I did. These guys were very good, Stan Mitchell especially and then Marzetta with closing. Their process was as simple as it can be. They were quick with responses, status updates and follow-ups. It would a been even better and easier, if there is a way to upload all the documents onto their website instead of sending emails/faxes. Thank you Aurora. Keep up the good work.

The refinance with Aurora was painless from the start to end. I received the quote from Steve Haynes and we were closed within 17 days... awesome customer service. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to refinance painlessly and quickly. We also got a great interest rate and terms. Recommend anyone looking to refinance to get all your bank statements, W2s, pay statements, etc., together before you start... it can be a fast moving train.
