Barb did a great job helping us to decide on a price for our home, then staging, marketing, and selling our home. . Barb knows the area and what homes are selling for. She was always there to answer questions and to get any work done that needed to be completed to make sure our home sale went smoothly. Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $275K in Boulevard Bluffs, Everett, WA.Summary:
When my husband and I decided it was time to start looking to buy a house, we wanted someone market-savvy and trustworthy to guide us through the process. After a few uncomfortable encounters with real estate agents, we saw Barb's signs around town and decided to give her a call. I am so glad we did. She came to our home and discussed in detail what our priorities were in a house and what we could afford. She gave us extremely helpful, unbiased recommendations about where to look for a mortgage. Her demeanor was sharp, professional, accessible, and, quite frankly, just lovely. Our search for an agent went no further.
The house we fell in love with happened to be a short sale. If Barb hadn't told us she hadn't worked with very many short sales, we would not have known. She knew just where to find answers to our questions, and she was vigilant about going to bat for us on anything that seemed fishy. She was persistent in following up with the sellers' agent to keep the process from stagnating, and she kept us meticulously updated on how the process was going.
Home buying negotiations are tricky, and they get trickier in a short sale. When we had concerns, she listened and offered her opinion, but ultimately left decisions in our hands. We never felt pushed one direction or another. Meanwhile, she kept an eye on the market in case the short sale didn't work out. With Barb at the helm, though, it did, and we are so happy with our new home.
