Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $625K in Redondo Beach, CA.
Barbi helped sell our home in redondo beach in october 2013. She was beyond helpful. My wife and I had relocated to the east coast and she made the process of selling our west cost home effortless. I can't recommend her enough. She is fabulous.

Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $4.25M in Manhattan Beach, CA.
Barbi sold our house for $750,000 over the asking price and the experience was phenomenal from beginning to end! Rather than rush to put the house on the market, Barbi did an initial walk through zeroing in on any potential pitfalls or objections that might prevent us from getting the highest possible price for our home. Prior to listing the house, she spent four straight months with us, holding our hands and addressing every last issue-- no matter how major or minor.

The enormous amount of work we did in so little time was only possible because of Barbi’s huge network of resources. With a few phone calls, she hooked us up with all of the handymen, specialists and consultants she’d used on past projects, and we were able to skip the time-consuming and tedious process of tracking down the right people, checking their references, getting bids, etc...

It’s a good thing my husband and I actually enjoy Barbi’s company, because from start to finish she was at our house constantly! She has an uncanny ability to know what small details will resonate with buyers, and she used that knowledge to guide us along until the vision was complete. She was integral in every choice we made, no matter how minor. It’s hard to imagine another realtor being half as detail oriented-- she obsessed over every single decision with us, from big ones like taking down a wall, to teeny-tiny ones about door hinges and lampshades. And they all paid off.

By the time we finished, my husband and I were so in love with the house -- it was such a warm, sophisticated version of its former self-- that we seriously considered not selling at all! But we went ahead and put it on the market, with Barbi pricing it very ambitiously. Within a few days, the offers started pouring in--all twelve of them!!! On Barbi’s advice we countered back the eight best offers. We watched her negotiate and finesse until she was blue in the face, ultimately getting us an astronomical sum of money for our house! There is absolutely no way we would have had so much success with another realtor. We are already looking for our next house and wouldn’t even consider buying or selling in the future without Barbi!!

Sold a Single Family home in 2013 in Manhattan Beach, CA.
My wife and I met Barbi at an open house that she was hosting in 1995. Since that time she has represented us on three real estate purchases (one was our very first home) and two sales in Manhattan Beach, and we are currently working with her on the purchase of another home. Throughout the past 18 years she has become a trusted advisor and friend. Her intimate knowledge of Manhattan Beach real estate, realtors, lenders, appraisers, builders/developers, home repair professionals, etc. gives her clients all the knowledge and tools they need to purchase or sell with confidence. Her professionalism and genuine concern for her clients is unmatched. I highly recommend her for anyone - from those who are looking to learn more about the local market or purchase their dream home on the beach.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $900K in Manhattan Beach, CA.
Barbi came highly recommended from a coworker who has used her multiple times. I was a first time home buyer and she was a perfect fit. She took the time to teach me about the market and answered all of my questions promptly (and believe me, I had lots of questions). Overall she was a pleasure to work with and her knowledge of the South Bay market is impeccable. She guided me through the entire buying process and was even able to provide excellent references for repair and remodeling work after closing. She will be my first and only call when I consider selling. Barbi is a true gem.

Sold a Single Family home in 2005 for approximately $1.9M in Manhattan Beach, CA.
Barbi helped us purchase a home in 2004 and sell a home in 2005 in Manhattan Beach. We have completed many real estate transactions over the years, and she is #1. She is simply a master in every area and goes above and beyond for her clients. Her knowledge of the properties, other agents, and the individual neighborhoods in the South Bay are nothing short of in depth and excellent. When we purchased our home she previewed the properties after quickly understanding what we were looking for so we wouldn't waste our time (we were moving from out of state). She truly wants what is the best fit for the buyer. When we sold, Barbi worked tirelessly in a very short time frame to help us stage our home which helped it sell in less than one week. I can't wait to work with her again. She is well networked in the community and well respected by her peers for her integrity. Her level of service was always five star plus with whatever we needed. We've used other realtors in other states (only because we couldn't take her with us) and no one can compare or even come close to Barbi.

Bought a Single Family home in 2000 for approximately $800K in Manhattan Beach, CA.
Barbie knew exactlly what I wanted in a home in Manhattan Beach, she did not waste my time. She found the perfect home for me. I met her at an open house, told her what I wanted and she found it! This gal knows how to close a deal!

Barbi also helped me purchase an income property in Manhattan Beach, she is extremely professional, knows the area, is very responsive.

When I wanted to get my taxes lowered on my rental property because of the downturn in the economy she did not hesitiate to provide the information I needed to successfully make that happen. I would not use anyone else.

Bought a Single Family home in 1995 in Manhattan Beach, CA.
Barbi has helped me purchase 2 homes in Manhattan Beach. The first in 1995 and the second in 2003. Both times she guided me through difficult negotiations as I was purcahsing homes which needed improvements. She has expert market knowledge and takes a personal interest in her clients which separates her from her competitors. I continue to rely on her for market advice and she is always easily available and a pleasure to deal with.

Bought a Single Family home in 2002 for approximately $1.125M in Manhattan Beach, CA.
I don't know how she does it, but that's okay -- all I need to know is how to contact Barbi.

She is deeply connected in the community, and repeatedly has brought me properties to consider that were either not going to be on the market long (so we better offer within 5 days, it's such a great view and price, and she was right), or were going to be strong investments in the long run (and again, she was right). I have bought multiple properties Barbi has sourced, and I still kick myself over the one that got away…because I didn’t make an offer!

She helps me develop the best strategy to play to win, which in the Manhattan Beach market, is critical for anyone serious about actually owning property.

I don't know how she does it, but then again, I don't need to.

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $1.475M in Hermosa Beach, CA.
Last year my husband and I had the pleasure of shopping for a house in the South Bay area with Barbi Pappas as our realtor. With her 20 plus years of experience in this region, she is extremely knowledgeable and has the inside track on new listings before they hit the MLS. We were new to the beach area and Barbi took tremendous care in familiarizing us with the type of architecture available as well as showing us what was obtainable in our price range. She is smart, polished, committed, and exceptionally good at keeping the buyer's goals in mind. She paid attention to detail, met every deadline, was prompt in returning phone calls, and readily accessible. She is a true professional, highly motivated, with a strong work ethic. We enjoyed her personable demeanor and found her honest and straight forward. She helped us find our perfect beach house. We highly recommend Barbi without reservation.

Bought a Single Family home in 2009 for approximately $2.15M in Manhattan Beach, CA.
Barbi helped our family in relocating to the South Bay area. Barbi was very responsive and helpful in meeting our needs and made the relocation process a lot easier than we anticipated. She made sure to understand our preferences, and this translated into our selection of the right house at the right price. We love where we live. Thanks Barbi!
