Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $175K in Tyler Park, Louisville, KY.
I will start by saying I do not like house hunting and for the most part relators also, but Bart is the exception.
Bart never pushed or said you’re crazy, he offered professional advice, would meet me anytime, kept in constant communication (even when out of town on vacation with his family) and he was a effective listener of what my housing needs and wants were.
Bart did a great job I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $250K in Sellersburg, IN.
Possibly the easiest review I've ever written. Bart is awesome. Now that we're in our new place it's hard to imagine going through this process with anyone else. Bart was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and was very easy to contact, even when we knew he was out of town. When my wife and I were interested in making an offer on a house, Bart made it happen. When we had questions or concerns, he was there.
He also wasn't afraid to give us his honest opinion, either, which we really appreciated. When we were looking or talking about houses that maybe wouldn't have been a good fit for us, he told us. When a place had problems, he told us.
Buying and selling a home can be a huge, daunting process, I know. But if you're looking for someone to help you through, it's very, very easy for me to recommend Bart Medlock.

Bart helped me sell my house and purchased a condo almost at the same time. I have positive experience working with him and I would recommend him for a friend who is looking for a realtor that they can trust.

This review is a year overdue. My husband and I decided to was time to upgrade from our studio apartment to our first home. Being total newbies it was very overwhelming not knowing exactly how to get started. That is until our close friends recommended us to Bart Medlock. Bart went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, answer all of our million questions and was more than patient with us as we figured out exactly what we wanted in our home. He was honest with us and turned the process from scary and overwhelming to exciting and fun. I HIGHLY recommend Bart Medlock for your buying and selling needs. He really is the best!

Bart is a real pleasure to work with. Knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to go that extra mile for you. He has an immense wealth of experience, and had additional knowledge above and beyond the listing information on almost all the properties we looked at. Able to offer advice without being pushy, he exudes a kind of warmth that brings a bit of comfort to the whole process.

Neal thank you so much! I hope you, Nicole, Eleanor and Mahlon create many happy memories in the new place. If you find you have an abundance of fresh fruit and veggies from the greenhouse I'll be happy to take any off your hands :)
Mr. Medlock had my home listed for several months and never had an offer. He recommended 3 different pricing structures and I went with his recommendation and never got an offer. He also set my alarm off 3 different times and never paid the FARP fines. Also very slow to return phone calls and when I listed with another agent was very petty. Do not waste your time listing with this guy.

Limited space, short version. I listed 9/13 - 2/14, 12 showings, no offers. 6 showings said overpriced. I don’t have 3 pricing structures, only 1 focused on selling most $/least time. If followed, would already be sold. 2/23/14 texted me to pull off market, was going to rent/sell on contract. I released 2/26, he listed w/agent 2 on 2/27. Not sure why he lied but ok. Agent 2 listed 3 mos did not sell. As of 10/28/14 is on agent 3, priced 15K under orig list $ w/me, still not sold. Why negative review me? Because when recently listed w/agent 3 he attempted to use my copyrighted photos to have another agent market home. No can do. He's calling that petty. Had he spent $ I have on my equip + 5 mos marketing home for him to lie to me, he may think differently. As for alarm, I didn't set off. 2 showing agents did despite detailed instructions to disarm. I didn't agree to pay any fines/he never sent bills. As for my response time, see other reviews, you decide truth.
This was our first home purchase, Bart's expertise made everything so simple and comforting. We would highly recommend Bart, he has a great work ethic, always easy to get in touch with and never felt rushed or any pressure from him.

Thank you Dana! My pleasure working with you guys. Please call me anytime you need anything.
As first time home buyers, we were very apprehensive about the entire process. However, after contacting Bart, immediately my nerves began to settle as he helped us work through the process. From our first meeting he took the time to not only understand our short term plan with immediate occupancy needs, but also to understand our long term goals so as to make suggestions that would be in line with those. We saw several homes through the month long search, and he gladly made accommodations to meet our every need. He allowed us to make our own decisions but he would also let us know the potential concerns if we we "charmed" by a particular house. Through the offer process he helped move on exactly the house we wanted and helped secure the contract, even while we faced the potential of another buyer placing an offer. Bart was masterful in working through the process from contract to close; his work kept my stress level at a relative minimum, which was critical in my decision making. Finally now that I am plus a month and a half after closing, I couldn't be happier with my decision of purchasing this house. It was exactly what we wanted and without Bart it would not have been possible. He'll be my realtor again no doubt.

George - you and Diana were great to work with. I had actually forgotten about the other offer we may have been competing with and getting ours accepted before they could submit. Woohoooo! Glad you guys are happy in the new home! We'll talk soon.
