What does it cost to list my home for sale buy owner on Zillow?

Answer
It doesn't cost anything to put a listing up on Zillow, whether it's for sale by owner or for sale through a broker.  Either way though, one website is not enough to give your home the appropriate amount of exposure to the market.  The lack of exposure is what will cost you money.  In order for a listing to be marketed effectively, it must reach every possible segment of the buyer pool.  Sellers who opt to limit that target audience will ultimately suffer in the sale price.

How do I find out which bank ownes a foreclosed property or and about to be foreclosed property?

Answer
It is part of the public record, although you may have difficulty getting that much detail on your own.  Most Realtors know how to find that information.  If you don't have a Realtor already, feel free to give me a call and I will see if I can help you.Rob McGarry[phone removed by Zillow moderator]

Removal of realtor listing on Zillow for a home I purchased?

Answer
Most issues like this can be resolved by claiming the home as the owner, then contacting Zillow to correct its records.  Realtors have little control over editing the data that Zillow publishes.

My home last sold in 2006 but zillow shows much earlier at a lower value. How do i change?

Answer
When you are on your property screen, just scroll down to claim your property as the owner.  Once you have worked your way through the verification steps, you can submit any changes to Zillow.  Most will reflect immediately, although this appears to be some error in the public record and may take a little longer to correct.

I want the home value of a home not on the market at this time? how do I search for that?

Answer
You can input their address to see what Zillow says it's worth, but if you are really looking for market value, a Realtor is the best way to go.

What if Zillow is incorrect?

Answer
as the other comments stated, this is a pretty easy problem to fix.  Zillow does a pretty good job correcting inaccuracies.  It's easiest if you are the owner because you can just "claim" the home.  If not, the flag icon is your best approach.  Rob McGarry

you have the wrong lot SF on my home. who can I contact to get it corrected?

Answer
There is a link toward the bottom of your home's listing on Zillow that allows you to identify yourself as the owner.  From there, you can submit any changes to inaccurate information.  Best,~Rob McGarry(310) 463-8488
