Trying to find the market value of my home.

Answer

Good Evening! The best way to find the current market value of your home is to search through the list of Realtors serving South Kingstown.  Look for a local agent, with expertise in the area.  Read their reviews and their bio to choose who might be a good fit for you!  Most agents will offer a FREE market analysis, so feel free to call a couple!  2 heads are always better than one! :)  Your home is in a great area, close to the beaches, the river for boating, the college for students or professors, the list goes on & on, but I don;t have to tell you that!  The market statistics for that area show a price per square foot anywhere from $179 per square foot to $203 per square foot, obviously this is only a market statistic with out any knowledge of the quality or condition of your home.  Once you make a decision on who to call, they can give you a more solid value of your home!  I hope this helps!Have a fabulous evening!Erin Diaz, Broker - OwnerBeaches & Backroads Realty

How do I Find my home? It's not for sale and I cant seem to find it.

Answer

Good Evening,When you are trying to find your home are you looking in the homes for sale section?  You want to make sure you are not searching in that section if it is not for sale.  On the Zillow home page, in the left column type your address in and your home should show up.  If not, you can send a quick email to the tech department, there may be a slight issue, however they are quick to resolve that stuff!  I hope this helps!  Have a fabulous evening!Erin Diaz, Broker - OwnerBeaches & Backroasd Realty

Why is our home at 11 Hornbeam Road, Coventry, RI 02816 valued so low?

Answer

Good Evening Oceanstate! You cannot stress over a zestimate, as they are simply an estimate of value town-wide without regard to the type of neighborhood, whether good or bad!  Based on the criteria the town has for your home, I ran a quick report that shows that the market value of your home assuming it is in average condition for the year it was built is approximately $160/square foot.  This number is not simply multiplied by your total square footage as above grade living space is worth more than below grade no matter what quality or grade of construction!  I, as many of the professionals on here, would be happy to provide you with a market value of your home if you wish!  I hope this helps!Have a fabulous evening!Erin Diaz, Broker - OwnerBeaches & Backroads Realty

Can you edit home facts without being the ownwer of the house?

Answer

Good Evening CianaC,Zillow is simply a consumer site to learn about properties that may be for sale as well as research tool to find a professional to assist them in selling or buying a home.  Unfotunately, the information Zillo wobtains is from multiple sources and to the best of my knowledge is a computer program that obtains this data.  This information can and will have discrepancies just as any computer program.  If your parents are looking for a market value of their home, use the tools to find a professional in the area of their home.  Zillow provides great avenues to research professionals in the area!  Zillow is not meant to provide an accurate market value that you would use to sell a home, buy a home or refinance, etc.  I understand you are upset that the information is incorrect, and there are ways to correct it that you have already been told about so I will not repeat information already put on this forum.  I hope this helps!Have a fabulous evening!Erin Diaz, Broker - OwnerBeaches & Backroads Realty

Mobile Version of Site Appearing on Desktop/Windows Computers

Answer

Hi SeanI know it appears on the bottom of the screen as an ad, perhaps that is being clicked on and getting loaded instead of the non mobile site?  I'm not really sure...  Maybe try typing in just Zillow.com and seeing if it will refresh the regular site?  I hope this helps! :)Have a fabulous evening!Erin Diaz, Broker - OwnerBeaches & Backroads Realty
