Bought a home in 2011.

Summary:

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Ben for our first home purchase and we couldn't have been happier. When we decided to look for a realtor, we had no clue where to turn due to the endless number of realtors in the greater King County area. Interestingly enough, I found Ben right on Zillow. After looking through others' reviews of him and looking at some other potential realtors, I was confident that Ben would be our guy. It was super easy to get a hold of him and he was very attentive. Given this was our first home purchase, Ben sat down with us to discuss the entire process and even provided a 'First-time Home Buyer' guidebook that he put together; this was great to revert back to when we were curious.

Ben catered well to our method of home searching. We're the type of people that prefer to locate the home ourselves, then work with Ben the rest of the way (versus having the realtor hunt down every proprety). The one thing we didn't anticipate was how big of a learning experience the whole exercise would be. Ben was patient with us as we hammered down our own financial parameters and our must haves. We looked at three homes, one of which we quickly backed out of as we gave the numbers more thought. Ben didn't belitte us whatsoever; he was there to guide as we needed to establish the parameters for ourselves. The second home was taken off the market by the selling bank due to an improper foreclosure. The third and final home was one we watched for a while and decided to dive into. Ben held strong on our offer criteria and everything worked out well in our favor.

Our first home was and is meant to be the foundation for our new family (we gave birth to our first child six days before closing). We were so glad to have Ben every step of the way and will gladly work with him again in the future for any home needs.

...one more thing. The mortgage consultant he recommends, Maegan Dornan, is flat out AWESOME. I didn't realize how much I'd be working with her and she was a straight rockstar. Super nice to work with, has a great personality, and I felt she legitimately cared. Great first time buying experience!

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $350k in Snohomish, WA.

Summary:

Ben is an honest, ethical, patient real estate professional who provides exceptional customer service, advocacy, and expertise.

Through a recommendation of a friend, we met with Ben a year before we were ready to begin our first home buying process. Very thoroughly he explained how the buying process would work and what we should expect in the months ahead. This preliminary meeting was essential for us to properly plan our budget and time management expectations. Per his recommendation, we met with the mortgage broker on his team to better lay out the financial details of the home buying process, and with their guidance, we felt very prepared, informed and equipped to make the biggest purchase of our lives.

For many months, Ben spent each weekend looking for homes with us. We looked at over 100 homes and his patience and knowledge was remarkable. We never felt hurried or rushed, and in fact assured us that we needed to continue looking and “never settle” for something that we didn’t love.

Ben has a very thorough and deep understanding of the real estate market and was able to guide us and provide options that we trusted and valued. His personable approach allows him to present difficult information in a clear, comprehensive, and relevant way. Once we found our dream house, he was an exceptional advocate for us and ensured every need was met. He facilitated our transaction seamlessly and handled certain issues with professionalism and appropriate industry acumen.

From the beginning, and long after the transaction was completed, Ben advised us, advocated on our behalf, and scrutinized every last detail to ensure a safe, effective, efficient home buying process for us, all while maintaining a great sense of humor and professional poise.

Ben is an ideal representative no matter the experience of the home buyer or seller. We hold him and his team in very high regard and would recommend him to anyone and will absolutely use him again for future home buying or selling needs.

There is no way I could say enough good things about Ben Pridgeon. He helped me find the right house, in the best location and negotiated an incredible price for me. I absolutely could not have bought the house I did without his help. His knowledge of the local market is astounding. Additionally, he constantly made me feel as if I was his only client by immediately answering or returning calls and rearranging his schedule to suit mine. I absolutely could not have asked for a better agent.More Less
