Sold a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $400K in Hollister, CA.Summary:
In June 2009--difficult time re: home sales--we listed our Hollister home with Augie & Calla Bertao. They have been highly rated realtors in the San Benito County & areas south of San Jose. We ourselves had known them for approx. 13 yrs. ( they represented the home's builder in our purchase of the home).
On both sides of the deal we found them knowledgeable, open, honest, available & timely. Augie, in our recent sale, supervised several final workman related issues we were unable to physically manage ourselves as we had had to make our move to our new home in El Dorado County.
Due to their up do date knowledge of the local market & personalities, we had more than one offer on the house and a completed sale in JUST ONE MONTH!!! In today's market, who can beat that?
Since we have known Augie & Calla re: both the purchase and sale, we highly recommend you use them when YOU have any real estate needs.

If you are looking for an agent that has your best interest in mind during your new home purchase, then Augie and Calla are the agents you want on your side. Very responsive and patient. They took the time to show my wife and I almost every home in the Hollister, Salinas area.

Bought a Single Family home in 2008 for approximately $675K in Hollister, CA.Summary:
We have purchased several properties with this agent/team. IMO they stand out in the world of real estate. They are very knowledgeable about the local market and the business and if they don't have an answer they find out quickly. For example, our last purchase was a short sale at sort of the beginning of the crash. They really helped us navigate the process and eventually we closed the deal. Furthermore, they are really nice people and very easy to communicate with, not your average real estate types. Lastly, they have high degrees of professionalism and ethics. We have recommended them repeatedly to both friends and family and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I was told by a co-worker that I should call the Bertao's and it was asolutely the right thing to do.
